Sermon given 29 September 2007

The Last 6 Commandments in the Millennium

by Jon Bowles

(PLAY FROM START)

Let's go and take a look at the scripture that we started with last time I spoke, over in Isaiah 2:3, picking it up half way down:

"...for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the [Eternal] from Jerusalem. And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people..." (Isaiah 2:3-4)

So the indication is that they will go ahead and they will be judging among the nations and He will rebuke many people - as Mr Pippy was bringing out, at the beginning of the Millennium there is going to be this need for actually putting down any rebellion that may be there. But I want you to notice through the Millennium itself what it says, and Isaiah 2:4 says:

"...and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks [and it is all to do with the word of the Eternal going forth from Jerusalem, that is all the context]: nation shall not lift up sword against nation..." (Isaiah 2:4)

There isn't going to be any kind of war within the Millennium itself, not until you get to the end of the Millennium, right at the very end and Satan is released for just a very short space of time and then you are looking at Ezekiel chapters 37-39, is where you are actually looking from the valley of dry bones, looking backwards. First of all you see them coming against Jerusalem and then you see again - this is what the prophet saw - he saw Armageddon itself. So in both cases you are looking at the events where Satan was involved, but it says her, during the Millennium itself, it says:

"...nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more." (Isaiah 2:4)

And the context of that, the reason why that is the case is because of the Word of the Eternal going out from Zion. Realise that it goes out from Jerusalem, from Zion, it says; "...for out of Zion shall go forth the law..." (Isaiah 2:3). And Zion in many cases, when you are looking here in Isaiah particularly, you are looking at the Church. You are looking at you, you are looking at me, you are looking at us getting this concept of the Law and the ability to actually apply the Law in every kind of circumstance. And that will actually produce a certain type of world. And in verse 4:

"...neither shall they learn war any more. O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the [Eternal]." (Isaiah 2:4-5)

It is this light that is necessary and there are other scriptures as well, in Isaiah, if you just turn over a few pages to Isaiah 8:13 it says:

"Sanctify the [Eternal] of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread. And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem [if we don't go ahead and sanctify the Eternal of hosts, Himself, we will find it is a snare; and so many of the churches that you will find outside, they will find that indeed it will turn out to be a snare]. And many among them shall stumble, and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken." (Isaiah 8:13-15)

And the solution, how do you do that? What do you do about this? Isaiah 8:16 says:

"Bind up the testimony, seal the law [seal the Torah] among my [students, that's you, that's me]..."

The students of this way. That is what it is all about. That is why we are here, that is what we are doing here. We are learning about this way, the Torah, the Law, the things of God, the mind of God. And they have got to be bound, they have got to be bound up, bind up the testimony. They have got to be sealed. That way of life and all the principles involved with it have got to be sealed among my students. The students that are at the Feast listening to words of God, looking at the word of God. You go down a few more verses to verse 20:

"To the law [to the Torah] and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them."

And what does if say about Jacob? We have just read it in Isaiah 2 - it says 'Come over and see the light!' "O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the [Eternal]." (Isaiah 2:5). This is what is going to happen during the Millennial rule. The light of that Torah, the light of that Law is going to be the thing that produces the very Millennium itself. It is the Spirit of God with the way-pointers that are in the Law of God itself. And go on to Isaiah 9:2 notice:

"The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined. [Verse 6] For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the [Eternal] of hosts will perform this." (Isaiah 9:2,6-7)

So what God is actually doing and the Eternal of hosts will actually perform that, and will do so and allow a certain light. Remember; what is the Law? The Law is a lamp, it's a lamp to our feet so that we know where we walk. And for the first time the entire earth we will have this lamp and the actual ability to be able to see where they are walking. That is what it is about. That is what these scriptures are about. And it involves the disciples, this Law has got to be sealed among the very disciples, sealed among the students themselves; that are learning about this way to replace another way that the world right now is going down.

So let's go on a little bit more, Isaiah 42:6 let's just stick in Isaiah for a little while. Let's just remind ourselves, why we are actually doing this; what we are doing it for. Here notice:

"I the [Eternal] have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people [this is talking about Christ being given for a Covenant for the the people], for a light of the Gentiles; To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house." (Isaiah 42:6-7)

The sealing of the Law among the disciples, among the students is so that this can be done. So that Christ can then direct you; "Go over here and illuminate these people." So you go and you literally illuminate. You go there and you illuminate - you start to explain the very law, the way of God, the thinking of God, and how that then will produce the fruit of God that is necessary within the world and therefore will produce a Utopia. Down in Isaiah 42:16 it says:

"And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them." (Isaiah 42:16)

He will actually illuminate and allow people to see for the first time the reasons for the problems that were in the world. I can think of people that we know - they have gone ahead and they have married within the family and they have gone out very shortly after and they have slept around. And they haven't any clue at all why the marriage then just explodes and breaks up, disintegrates. They kept it from the spouse they married. They thought that that didn't matter, that they could get away with it some way. But if they understood; that no, you can't do that. You cannot go ahead and as God says, take fire into your bosom and not be burned. It causes pain, it causes suffering. It causes difficulties.

But we look around at society today and every single soap opera that you see on the television and they try and give you another story. The story is a lie. The story is a lie! And this is the light that comes out of this Book. We have all experienced this in our own families. We have already seen these kind of things go on.

And yet it is taking that, it is taking that experience, it is also taking what this Word has to say and it is giving people the light. Allowing people to see; "...This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left." (Isaiah 30:21). And they are able then to see what needs to be done and the steps that need to be taken in order to produce the Utopia down the line so that another generation will then arise into that world and actually see that results of the change of thinking. Of the change as far as the Two Trees are concerned. Isaiah 42:16 says:

"And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight...[Verse 21] The [Eternal] is well pleased for his righteousness' sake; he will magnify [or make magnificent] the law, [the Torah, the Way, the thinking of God] and make it honourable." (Isaiah 42:16,21).

That's what Christ is going to do. Turn back to Proverbs 6:20 and be aware when you are looking at this particular section of Proverbs, it can have a spiritual application; and certainly we can give it a spiritual application without any problem at all. It says:

"My son, keep thy father's commandment, and forsake not the law [the Torah] of thy mother [the way of your mother]: Bind them continually upon thine heart, and tie them about thy neck." (Proverbs 6:20-21)

You see what we are trying to do, when we are given the responsibility as spirit beings in the Millennium, we'll say; "Right, go over there and sort this problem out." And you say; "This is the way, walk in it." and you point them to the Law. You make the revelation necessary that they can see the path to their feet, which way they are going to have to go. You are applying the Law in a spiritual sense. You are applying it in principle to every single aspect of their lives. And when we are looking here, we are looking at the father's commandment, don't forsake the law of your mother.

The New Covenant to us is a marriage agreement, that's what it is. It is a marriage agreement between Christ and His Church. That is what we are looking forward to. It is a betrothal time right now. But when we get into the future, it is still a family agreement, but you are looking at the children of that family. They are not going to become the wife. The wife is the first resurrection, that's the wife. But it is still a family agreement. It is still exactly the same kind of agreement. It is still the same concept that is there. And that will extend all the way through the Millennium, right into the Great White Throne Judgment itself.

So what you are doing here is exactly the same thing as you and I do with our children. You are saying; "Okay, when you go out and your mother or your father isn't actually watching you, at this particular time, just understand that the word is still there. It is still there, it hasn't disappeared. It is still there, and it will keep you. If you do what we have suggested, what we have gone ahead and trained you to do, you will have the success that you need. You go aside from it, it will wallop you, just as much as I would have walloped you if I had been around. It is just the same." And this is what is being said here in Proverbs 6:20:

"My son, keep thy father's commandment, and forsake not the [Torah] of thy mother: Bind them continually upon thine heart, and tie them about thy neck. When thou goest, it shall lead thee; when thou sleepest, it shall keep thee; and when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee. For the commandment is a lamp..." (Proverbs 6:20-23)

They were in darkness, but here is the light. You are going to have this light. What we are doing is teaching people in the Millennium; when we looking at being actual resurrected sons and daughters of God teaching the people of the way of life that is there. It is not just a case of popping up now and then and saying; "This is the way walk in it." No, hang on a minute, I have to go over here; "This is the way walk in it." And all the time you are popping up here and there pointing people. You will do that to start off with.

But it is the same as a child. When you have a child you set the boundaries, and you set the boundaries very, very tight. Where we live we have a road right outside our house and it is a dangerous road. The person who was living in our house before we actually bought it was killed on the road outside. Now he was killed a little bit down from where we are. It was about midnight and he was drunk and he was in the middle of the road with a dark overcoat on. But apart from that he was killed on the road outside.

We are on a corner, so the cars come down and they come round that corner very, very fast. We are not in any kind of restricted zone at all, so they can literally go 60 mph quite legally around that corner. And our land is on the other side of that road. That is where all the woods and the stream and the fun things to play in. My father and mother used to live on the other side of the road and the kids used to go down there and run down the valley to go ahead and see their grandparents.

Now that road was absolutely lethal. When the children were very small, there was a boundary. We didn't have a wall in front at all. It was literally six feet from the house to the road and between that there was a kerb-stone. And we told them, you put your foot over that kerb-stone and the wrath of everything will descend upon you. And I remember going into the house and looking out and watching. One of the children was running around, playing, and all of a sudden she stopped. That child looked around; and you could see the mind, the cogs were working and everything else. This kerb-stone was there, and one foot went just a little over, and the wrath didn't descend, so another went back and forth and then the wrath descended! That child didn't do it again! Not that I was told about.

But the boundaries were clearly set. It was set well back from the road because they were young. Eventually, however, they had to cross the road, they would get to a certain age and they were allowed to go across with an adult obviously, or be seen across. And they used to come to the side of the road and they would yell to come across the road, and they would be seen across the road. Even to this day, I was talking to one of them, who is about 30 years old now, and was told; "You know, every time I come home, and I come to the side of the road, I feel like yelling!" It is still has that ingrained, because if you respect the road you are fine. If you don't respect the road you are dead. It is literally that serious. We couldn't keep cats. The cats just got killed, no messing. But here Proverbs 6:23 says:

"For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:" (Proverbs 6:23)

What we are doing with the people within the Millennium and what God is dealing with us, on an individual basis now, is that He is inculcating this Law, He is inculcating the Word of God into us, so that when we go, we will take it with us. As Proverbs 6:21 says here:

"Bind them continually upon thine heart, and tie them about thy neck [there is your instruction all the time]. When thou goest, it shall lead thee; when thou sleepest, it shall keep thee; and when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee." (Proverbs 6:21-22)

So that it becomes part of you, it becomes part of us. And this voice behind us, behind the people, that certainly will be the case. But after that has happened they will then to begin to understand themselves and this will be the case. We are not expecting - 10 million years from now - to go off to Alpha Centauri, and there is somebody over there, to tell them; "...This is the way, walk ye in it..." (Isaiah 30:21). They should already have that in there and that is what we are doing. Like training up a child you; "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6). It is exactly the same thing. And that is our job. That is going to be our job. We have got to understand this.

Today I want to carry on with the series of the two sermons and deal with how those six Commandments will apply and actually shape the Millennium and they'll act as a lamp. And will act as a lamp guiding what takes place and guiding them along the way of God. This way of give, this Tree of Life because it is coming from the very Spirit of God. And we can see step by step each Commandment and how, in fact, the spirit and the principle can be applied.

But be aware of what we are doing. We are understanding, we are learning these things so that these people can go out and live a life independent of us. It is the same as children. Child rearing isn't about cracking the whip over children, it is about letting them go. But when they do go, what you have said still is there. It is still talking to them. And they therefore have the principles and what they need to live the kind of life they need to live. It is the same thing again, God does it with us, He is going to do it in the future and that is what it is all about.

The Fifth Commandment (PLAY FROM 19:08)

What about honour your father and mother? Turn over to Deuteronomy 5:16 we find the actual command:

"Honour thy father and thy mother, as the [Eternal] thy God hath commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which the [Eternal] thy God giveth thee." (Deuteronomy 5:16)

The basic principle there, or the fundamental Commandment; yes it is a physical commandment, but who is it actually written to? It is not written to children predominantly. The little girl who was putting a foot back and forward across the kerb-stone, couldn't pick this book up and actually read it. It was for me to go ahead and inculcate that into her. And so as far as this is concerned, this is actually been written for adults. It is written for adults to then train and teach the children. As it says, when we go on a little bit more, down in Deuteronomy 5:29:

"O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!" (Deuteronomy 5:29)

Now the heart is going to be there, the spirit is going to change in the Millennium. This is what I say when you are looking at Isaiah 2, they are not going to learn war any more. It is going to be a different world. There is going to be peace there. But what you are looking at here, it is going to have to take that change of heart, because that is not what happened in ancient Israel. That wasn't the case. But we are looking at the same Law, the same principles, the same words that are there - but they are going to be applied; and they are going to be applied in a spiritual sense. Including in Deuteronomy 6:4 where it says:

"Hear, O Israel [listen]: The [Eternal] our God is one [Eternal]: And thou shalt love the [Eternal] thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart [now that is where God wants them, that is where He wants the Torah, the very Law of God - written in the heart, the very Commandments that are written in the heart]: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children..." (Deuteronomy 6:4-7)

So where it is talking about, 'honour your father and your mother as the Eternal your God has commanded you', it is the parents that we are going to have to teach in the Millennium. It is the parents that need teaching. We are going to have to sit down the people in front of us in services and so on, they are going to need the teaching, the pointing, so that they can then use the teaching in the Millennium themselves, in the family environment, to teach their children. And that is the way in which it is going to work. So what we are looking at here in Deuteronomy 6:7:

"And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them [this is how it is done] when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up." (Deuteronomy 6:7)

What will happen then? Well basically the children - the association comes into play, and when they sit in a house, the word will come back to them. When they walk in the way, the same word will be there. It is exactly what it says in Proverbs. This is how it will work. And we are then to instruct the parents, the parents then instruct the children, and the Law of God then produces the fruit. Then that fruit will ultimately produce the Utopia at the end of the Millennium. That is what it is all about. That is why it is so important to 'seal this Law among my disciples, my students'. The students that you and I are. That is why it is so important that we get to grips with this, so that we can, in fact, do the job we have been called to do. If we turn over to Deuteronomy 32:45 we find how this Commandment about the parents, it talks about actually prolonging life:

"And Moses made an end of speaking all these words to all Israel [this is the song of Moses that had just been given; read back, it's talking right back down to the end time in the song of Moses]: And he said unto them, Set your hearts unto all the words which I testify among you this day, which ye shall command your children to observe to do, all the words of this law [this Torah, that is what it is talking about]. For it is not a vain thing for you; because it is your life: and through this thing ye shall prolong your days in the land, whither ye go over Jordan to possess it." (Deuteronomy 32:45-47)

It is something that is going to continue our lives and actually cause the life to go on. Eventually it will cause life to go on for eternity. This is what is going to happen in the future. This is what we are looking forward to. It is interesting that in this particular passage; just a total aside in Deuteronomy 33:2 it says:

"And he said, The [Eternal] came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them; he shined forth from mount Paran, and he came with ten thousands of saints: from his right hand went a fiery law for them. Yea, he loved the people; all his saints are in thy hand: and they sat down at thy feet; every one shall receive of thy words." (Deuteronomy 33:2-3)

This is a prophecy looking forward into the very return of Christ. And you go into Revelation and you find the song of Moses being mentioned by the actual saints. These disciples are singing these songs, these words that you find at the end of the song of Moses. So this is not just way back when in Israel's time. This is talking to us - the disciples - among whom the Law has got to be sealed, it is talking to us. It has been preserved. Let's face it these are thousands of years old. Why? So I can get up here in Kentucky and read them that's why. So you can listen to them, so that we all of us can, I can listen to them too. All of us can listen to them. That is why they have been preserved. That is why we have got them today.

The interesting point is in this particular Law or Commandment about honouring father and mother, if we think just for a minute about this; what scripture tells us what is going to happen to human beings during the Millennium as far as the resurrection is concerned? What resurrection are they going to go into? Is there any scripture you can think of? There isn't. We are not told. So what is going to happen. Which resurrection do they go into? Where is the resurrection for the people during the Millennium? There is no mention of a resurrection for people during the Millennium. It talks about the Great White Throne Judgement, that they will die a hundred years old. But in the Millennium there is no mention of it.

So the only conclusion is, and this is Bowles speculation, please note; The only conclusion you can come to is that they come to the end of their life - because of what the Millennium is doing, it's preparing for the White Throne Judgement - they come to the end of their life and they are then transformed into spirit beings at that time. I can't see any other solution. I can't find a resurrection that you can fit them into. So, I know that the Millennium is gearing up ready for the Great White Throne Judgement, so the supposition is that they are then changed across. Now if someone has any scripture that can shed some illumination on that, please come to me afterwards and tell me, because as far as I know, I can't see another solution.

Taking that as being the case, then ask yourself, what is this Commandment about honour your father and mother about? You see, we have got four Commandments to start off with, and then you have got six. Four Commandments to do with the relationship between man and God. And then you have got six, that does what? The relationship between man and man. But right in the middle is this one.

What is going to happen in the Millennium? Who are the fathers and mothers in the Millennium. As I say it is written for adults, it is not written for children. Children are going to have to be trained by adults. Who are going to be the parents, the grandparents, the great grandparents, and so on? They will be spirit beings to a large degree. So you have almost like a bridge between two groups of Commandments when you are looking at the Millennium, because you are looking at honouring father and mother, but you are also looking at honouring father and mother spiritually. You are looking at, literally father and mother who have been, what would you call it? resurrected, changed or however it would have to be.

Now it may be that there is a resurrection at the end of the Millennium and everyone comes up then, but I don't know. If it is that they become spirit being straight away and actually assist in the progression of the Kingdom of God, which seems to be likely, then it seems very likely that your father or mother in the Millennium, or your grandfather, grandmother, great grandfather, great grandmother could well be spirit beings. And, as I say, you are looking at this bridge.

So this commandment that you are looking at is certainly an important one; a vital one as a bridge between the relationship between man and God and the relationship between man and man and it sits right in the middle there. It is a command of a family agreement because these people also will recognise, they will see what a family is all about. They will understand what we are here for, for the first time. It is the illumination. They will actually see the light to say, this is the path, walk down it.

Why? Why honour your father and mother? Because it is a picture of the relationship between Christ and the Church and they will see Christ and the Church. They will see them in control, in rulership and they therefore are going to become the family within that relationship. And they can see that relationship. They will see that family. And they can see the very fulfilment of that very command itself, the word itself.

It is an awesome thing, absolutely awesome when you start to consider just what it is, that Commandment. And you are going to have to be teaching it and you are going to be dealing with people. You will be talking to them about honouring father and mother and you will be able to draw the spiritual parallels in a way we cannot do today because we don't live in that kind of world; that kind of society, but it will be when you come down to that time.

The Sixth Commandment (PLAY FROM 30:19)

Coming on to number six; "Thou shalt not kill." (Deuteronomy 5:17). You will not kill. We know that Christ said in John 10:10:

"...I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." (John 10:10)

That is the purpose, that is what He is aiming for and the Millennial rule is to give people life and more abundantly preparing for eventually: the Great White Throne Judgement and giving them life and more abundantly as well. It is coming from the Tree of Life, the Two Trees, going back to the original sermon I gave back on the opening night; the Tree of Life. It is not just a case of you don't kill, that is a given, but it is a case of giving life. Let's look at the scriptures over in Revelation 21:4. This is the purpose of God, it says:

"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son." (Revelation 21:4-7)

But they will have the fountain of the water of life freely. That is what we are looking for. That is what will be actually given to the people in the Millennium and it doesn't just end with the Millennium - it will go on into the future.

So when we are looking at human beings and the things that have gone on, the things that people have seen when the Millennium first starts; the destruction, the wars, the problems that will have been there. They will have seen an army; a sixth that is left, of the 200 million wiped out, that came across from Gog and Magog. One of the first jobs during the Millennium, what are they going to be doing? The first job is; "Right, here is a bag, go and find some bones." This is basically what the entire nation of Israel will be doing, for seven months, burying bodies. {1}

But it is the first job that they will be doing, and it will impress something upon the mind. Now here is a world and here is the end result of that world, this is what you have. And when people start to explain; "Okay, it is not just a case of you don't kill one another it is a case of recognising and preserving life. It is a case of human life has got a potential. The potential is to become a son and daughter of God. That is why you don't kill them. That is why you don't do these kind of things." And here in Revelation 22:1 it says:

"And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the midst of the street [or the channel] of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations." (Revelation 22:1-2)

Yes it is symbolic, but you are looking at a river of life, the very Spirit of God. Just turn to Revelation 22:14:

"Blessed are they that do his commandments [this is what we are talking about, the very Commandments of God], that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city." (Revelation 22:14)

It is having a mindset which is towards life. It is not towards murdering each other, which is what war is. This is why it says they will not learn war any more. Nation will not fight against nation, they will beat their spears into pruning hooks and so on. And the entire concept is going to have to change because you are looking at life. That is what God is wanting to give. He is not wanting to wipe people out. He is wanting to give life. It is necessary at the beginning of the Millennium to wipe people out in order to give life, yes, absolutely; but the Millennium itself is going to be used to give life to the entirety of the nations. Turn back to John 4:13:

"Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life." (John 4:13-14)

That's the purpose. That is what they are looking forward to in the future. Over in John 7:37, a very similar passage, you find:

"In the last day, that great day of the feast [we will be reading it the that Last Great Day of the Feast this year], Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water." (John 7:37-38)

This Spirit of God that is going to fill the earth will produce rivers eventually of living water because it will go into human beings and then it will come out as fruit. Remember the road of it, the channel of it, there was the Tree of Life on either side producing twelve fruit. And as far as the nine fruits that are mentioned; "...love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance..." (Galatians 5:22-23); these are the qualities, the qualities that you find there. And here John 7:38 says:

"He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water." (John 7:38)

It will go into him and then come out as fruit and the fruit will then become the qualities that are needed within the Millennium. But the thing is; to recognise that it is an abundant life that is being talked about and this is mentioned in John 10:7, where it specifically says:

"Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy [they will for years be burying those bones, they will see the results of the governments of this world, that come as it says here, not except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy; but]: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." (John 10:7-10)

That is what it is about. So when you are looking at this Commandment where you shall not kill, it is not a case of just not killing, it is a case of loving your enemy. It is a case of having an abundant life, it is a case of, Christ as it says in Isaiah 40:10:

"Behold, the Lord God will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him. He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young." (Isaiah 40:10-11)

How He will gently lead them them with young. Yes, He will rule the nations with a rod of iron - the nations that come against Him, but He will lead gently those with young. He will look after on an individual basis. I always think of Mr Armstrong quite frankly. Mr Armstrong, he would get up here and, I don't know how many lecterns he got through, but he would bang on the lectern and really let us have it. But you go to him individually, on an individual basis, he was gentle, he was loving, he was kind, that was the kind of person he was. And that should tell us something because I believe firmly that the Spirit of God was working through him and we are looking at the same spirit has got to lead the Church now. The same spirit has got to be in the Church now. And the same spirit will be in the Millennium, the same spirit will be in the Great White Throne Judgement and the same spirit will be there out into eternity as well.

If there is a rebellion, which is a national rebellion, that has got to be put down. But if it is on an individual basis that is not the way it is, it just isn't. He came that we might have life and have it more abundantly. And the entire focus, why you and I are learning the things that we are learning is so that we can go out into the world, not this world, but into the world of the Millennial time and give these people life, give these people hope, give these people the way of life, the light of God's Law, and a path to actually walk down; "...This is the way, walk ye in it..." (Isaiah 30:21). So that they can take it and then use it themselves inculcated into their own lives from that point. Turn back to Matthew 5:21 it says:

"Ye have heard that it was said of them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca [or you worthless one], shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou [cursed] fool, shall be in danger of [Gehenna]"(Matthew 5:21-22)

Now that is being spoken to the Church but the principle still goes right into the future as well. Matthew 5:23 says:

"Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee; Leave there thy gift before the altar [get it sorted out between yourself and your brother first, and then you can go ahead and offer your gift as it says here], and then come and offer thy gift. [Verse 43] Ye have heard that it hath been said [this is the oral law, the Talmud basically], Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies [you won't find it actually saying, love your neighbour and hate your enemy, but it goes on you love your enemies], bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good. (Matthew 5:23-24, 43-45)

That is what we have got to say to people. We have got to say to people; "Now okay, you might think destroy your enemies, and so on, because you have just seen Christ destroy these people that came along against Jerusalem; but I am telling you, you love your enemies, you bless those who curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That you may be the children of your Father." But you think, hang on a minute that is surely against the Law? Oh yeah; turn over to Exodus 23:4, the same Individual, the same Christ, the same Law, says:

"If thou meet thine enemy's ox or his ass going astray, thou shalt surely bring it back to him again [you will surely do it, there is no question, you haven't got a leg to stand on if you don't do it]. If thou see the ass of him that hateth thee lying under his burden, and wouldest forbear to help him [say; he deserves all he gets], thou shalt surely help with him." (Exodus 23:4-5)

That is the Law of God. That is the word of Jesus Christ to Ancient Israel and it is the word that you and I also have got to take to the people saying exactly the same thing. It is the same Law but that Law has then got to go into the heart because they have access to God the Father through prayer. They have access to spirit beings, they have access to Christ who will be there at that time and they can understand this word, in a spiritual way.

So when you are saying, you shall not kill, you go beyond there, you love your enemies. Why? I mean Paul actually goes into Romans 12:20:

"Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head." (Romans 12:20)

It talks about if you do that you put coals of fire on his head. And people think; 'Right, let's do that, I'll put coals of fire on his head.' Well that is not what he is saying. That is not what he is meaning by that, he is saying; if you do that you put coals of fire on his head, so he has got to do something about that. He gets uncomfortable, so he is no longer your enemy any more. That is what it is about, so that he doesn't remain an enemy. And this is exactly what it says here in the Torah, in Exodus 23, you haven't got a leg to stand on, you have got to help. Why? Because it stops enemies. It turns them round. You look upon it almost as an opportunity.

It is not just a case of you shouldn't kill, you have to implement this positive side as well. And you and I as disciples, as students, who seal the Law among my students have got to get to grips with this principle that is here. It is not just a case of not killing - it is to make sure that the enemies are loved so they are no longer enemies, so the world becomes one world. You have got peace. They beat their swords into plowshares.

How can you go ahead and get your atom bombs and your swords and your spears all organised and you are going into this battle and you say; "Hang on a minute, you put your swords down and you say right, got to help him put it right, and then I'll kill him." It doesn't work, you can't do it like that. You get rid of your enemies. And that doesn't mean that you get rid of your enemies by jabbing a spear into him. You get rid of your enemies by helping him with his ox or his ass. Therefore the world becomes one. That is what we are looking at, because it is a Tree of Life it is not a tree of death. A tree of death is what happened before, that is what we need to get rid of. The Tree of Life is what we are looking at. That is what it is all about.

The Seventh Commandment (PLAY FROM 45:24)

What about committing adultery? Now one thing that we need to understand and the thing that Satan certainly understands, the area he can attack; if he can get a wedge in between husband and wife he can destroy the family. We have seen it within our own family. We have seen the effect of it first hand. We have seen the thing progress, we have seen the whole thing develop.

But that family is the stable unit of society. The family is where people come from. And when we are looking at the future and we are looking at the Millennial rule we are looking at where the Millennial people arrive from, that is where they come out of; they come from families. And if the family unit is stable - which is as it should be - then you have got a stable society. If it is the way Satan has trashed it then you have got the chaos of today.

And we are seeing a society that at one time, both here in America and also in the UK and elsewhere across the world, had a semblance of stability; why? Because they had this Book and there were people that believed it, even though it was carnal, they still believed it, and today they have got rid of that. They have come up with their own ideas and the whole society is crumbling. The whole society is going down the tubes. And the people that start the Millennium will have actually witnessed this themselves first hand. And the light then of the Law of God - that we give them as students now, ready to go ahead and seal that Law amongst my disciples, my students - includes this one of adultery.

Satan will attack it any way he can, he will attack it through celibacy, which is described in Timothy as a doctrine of demons, along with vegetarianism, which again you are looking at where you equate animals and humans as the same; and they are not. Humans have got a human spirit, there is a spiritual component to humans. They are different from animals. Yet these are doctrines of demons. So you have got celibacy on one hand, and on the other hand what have you got? You have got immorality. So either way you are going to go ahead and trash the family. But that has got to be put right in the future. And we as students among whom the Law is sealed have got to go ahead and get to grips with that. Turn over to Ephesians 5:15 it says:

"See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise [keep our eyes open, realise where we are going], Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is." (Ephesians 5:15-17)

And that is what we are trying to get to. We are trying to get to the will of God because that is what is going to be implemented when we are looking into the Millennium. That is what we need to get to grips with so that we can then implement it. Now down in Ephesians 5:21:

"Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God [notice what it is, it is in the fear of God, then it starts to describe how we submit ourselves to one another within the family relationship]. Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing [that applies to the wife and that is the way we submit one to the other as far as wives are concerned]. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it [this now tells us husbands how to submit to one another, it is giving the greater detail that needs to be there]; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish." (Ephesians 5:21-27)

This is the thinking that needs to be within us as husbands as we approach our wives, as we look at our wives. Ephesians 5:28:

"So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself [that is the way and approach that we need to have]. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church." (Ephesians 5:28-32)

The family relationship is a spiritual relationship and that spiritual relationship is a picture of what will take place within the spirit world. Christ and the church and the children that will result from that union and the impregnation of the very spirit of God into the human mind that will give rise to the very children of God for the future. This stable family of love is an essential part of the Millennial rule; absolutely essential. It is the foundation of the society. Satan has trashed it in our society. Now what does it say in Revelation 21:7:

"He that overcometh shall inherit all things..." (Revelation 21:7)

We within this society have got to overcome these things. We as students have got to get our minds over these things. Overcome the ideas of this world so that we can then be ready to teach this. And every single one of us, everyone in this room, has a problem in this area. We have got to overcome. Everybody who ever it is, there is no perfect marriage. But you know this particular passage here in Ephesians 5:32:

"This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she [fear or honour] reverence her husband." (Ephesians 5:32:33)

So this love is what we need to teach. And we need to overcome any difficulties that we have at the moment so that we can be ready to teach that. Now Isaiah 32:1, again a scripture I have read every single time I have spoken here so far:

"Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment." (Isaiah 32:1)

These are the princes that you and I need to be, but it says here in Isaiah 32:14:

"Because the palaces shall be forsaken; the multitude of the city shall be left; the forts and towers shall be for dens for ever, a joy of wild asses, a pasture of flocks; Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest. [Until that time; and then verse 17]. And the work of righteousness ["...all thy commandments are righteousness." (Psalm 119:172), so the works of the commandments being properly implemented, being properly taught within the Millennium] shall be peace..." (Isaiah 32:14-15,17)

Do we find that within our homes today? Hopefully within our homes, yes we should do. But in the homes in the world outside? You just have got to look at any, any, soap opera and you see the chaos. Alright that is the 'bleeding edge,' or whatever they want to call it, of the social interaction. But the trouble is that bleeding edge becomes the next level down, and the next level down, and you descend down into the gutter. Isaiah 32:17:

"And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever." (Isaiah 32:17)

Within families, within homes, between husbands and wives and this love of a spouse is what we need to teach. This is what we need to make sure we get to grips with. Turn over a few pages to Isaiah 54:7 it says:

"For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee." (Isaiah 54:7)

And we are involved with that gathering, involved with actually training and helping when these people are gathered. Isaiah 54:10:

"For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the [Eternal] that hath mercy on thee. O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted, behold, I will lay thy stones with fair colours, and lay thy foundations with sapphires. And I will make thy windows of agates, and thy gates of carbuncles, and all thy borders of pleasant stones. And all thy children shall be taught of the [Eternal]; and great shall be the peace of thy children." (Isaiah 34:10-13)

Now within the home, when you look at some of these homes you have got today in the world outside, that is the last thing. You don't find that. There are fights, there are problems, there is unhappiness; and as I say we have seen it within our own family. We see it in families around us. You see it on television you see it all around us in society. When society breaks down and that is what you are looking at. But here it says, at this time; "...great shall be the peace of thy children." (Isaiah 34:13). that is what we are looking for.

So 'don't commit adultery' is much more than don't go out there and sleep with somebody else, it is making sure that the unit, the fundamental unit, is as strong as it needs to, through the love that is necessary between husband and wife, giving them the illumination that is there from the very law of God. It is more than just that one commandment. That commandment is the phrase. But behind it is the Torah which is the way of God with all the ramifications of it. That is what we are looking at. That is what has got to be sealed within us. Seal the Law among my students. Make sure that they understand these things.

The Eighth Commandment (PLAY FROM 56:45)

What about not stealing? Now my wife told me, you know when you quote this don't quote it over and over and over again which did on my other sermon on not stealing. But it is such a good quote I am going to quote it a few times. It is from Mr Armstrong, about the Mystery of the Kingdom of God, 'Mystery of the Ages' page 323, it says:

"In God's kingdom, commands of his will be obeyed. They'll become the standard [of the world, remember we are talking about not stealing; we are talking about not working to get for ourselves] for regulating commerce, business, finance, and the entire economic structure of the world."

"And all will be on the giving basis. Christ said: "Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again" (Luke 6:38).

"The giving standard will be followed in God's rule on this earth [the giving standard, that is the way of the businesses outside - not today but in the World Tomorrow] - not the grasping, conniving, striving, deceitful, clandestine, furtive, scurrilous, devious, cheating and lying chicanery that is commonplace in today's business world." 'Mystery of the Ages'

Having been in today's business world I think this grasping, conniving, striving, deceitful, clandestine, furtive, scurrilous, devious, cheating, lying chicanery is dead right. Because that is exactly what it is like. Every single person who has ever been in business knows exactly what I mean because that is the way it works. That is really the way it works.

But you see we have got to learn a different way. As it says here, it has all going to be on a giving basis. When we are looking at this law about don't steal, it doesn't mean you tell people; "Right this is the way walk in it; get your thieving hands off!" - whatever it is they have got their thieving hands on. That is not all that we actually say. What we have got to make sure is that these people need to work to give. They need to work to give. You see if you turn over to Acts 14:15 and again remember this Law has got to be 'sealed amongst My students' so that they can teach it:

"And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein: Who in times past [allowed] all nations to walk in their own ways. Nevertheless he left not himself without witness, in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness." (Acts 14:15-17)

So here was the carnal pagan society. The first message that Paul was giving these people was; "Look you have got to understand who the Creator is. The Creator is a giving God. Look what we have been given. Just look at it. Look at what we are living in." This is what this world is really all about. And if you and I are sent into an area to introduce them to the way of God for the first time, this is the basis. You start with the Creator, you point them to the Creator. You let them recognise who that Creator is. Turn over the page to Acts 17:25 it is exactly the same basic philosophy that is given there, it says:

"Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;" (Acts 17:25)

You see, again he is dealing with the pagan philosophers and this was the fundamental - that here is a being who is the Creator and it is not just a case of He is the Creator, He is the giving Creator. It is a certain mindset and what are we getting across to people in the Millennium? We are getting across to them that they are going to become the sons and the daughters of who? A giving Creator. They need the same mind as who? A giving Creator!

So instead of having this grasping, conniving, striving, deceitful, clandestine, furtive, scurrilous, and all the rest of it, you have got to develop a mind of a giving Creator. That is the type of mind that we need and if the whole world starts to have that kind of mind and puts that law into its effect, what do we have? You have a Utopia, you have a paradise. You have a world that everyone else who comes from this lying chicanery will then come into and say; "What happened, what changed?" And it is so simple. The Two Trees, and you go through the Two Trees.

You tell them about the Two Trees and it is being amplified and expanded even by this one, which is you don't steal, but you work therefore to give. It goes beyond just working, it is more than that. What about the land? I think I brought out in the sermon I gave on this particular subject, you try stealing from the land and it comes back and it will bite you; it really will. The land we have got out here they have stolen from - I say out here, it's over in Europe as well - the farmers have stolen from for generations. When the fertiliser stops that land will cease to produce. They have been forced and forced and forced and forced to produce. The land itself is dead and you do not have the kind of reserve that should be there.

Now that has got to turn that around. How is it going to be turned around? By stopping from stealing and instead of stealing you give. You have a different philosophy of mind. It is not just the case of the land Sabbath, it is a case of actually using muck in the right way. The way in which you improve the fertility of the land, as I have said before, you want to keep ten sheep to the acre? Dead easy, you put ten sheep on and leave them there until the acre produces the food for it. How do you do that? By feeding the land, by getting the land improved. What you do is you get hay and sillage and everything else and you keep shovelling it in there and the land eventually, as long as you keep your parasites at bay, your land will come to a productive capacity and it will feed ten sheep to the acre. That is how it is done.

Now how exactly we are going to do it in the Millennium I am sure we will be taught. But I would say one of the key ingredients is going to be that rumen, because you find that from ruminant animals, that is your composting bin. And what is coming out of the end of that rumen is inoculating the entire soil with the bacteria that is necessary to cause the whole thing to improve. That is part of not stealing. Do you see the expansion of it, this law, this Torah is then applied?

What about governments, no inflation. What is inflation? Too much money chasing too few goods and you are looking at governments pumping money into the economy. That is what is happening today. That is going to stop and you will get a certain standard. Ephesians 4:28;

"Let him that stole steal no more: but [this is how you do it] rather let him labour [let him work], working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth." (Ephesians 4:28)

It is a different mental approach that is required in this area. Paul gives an example of how that applies within the Church in II Thessalonians 3:7:

"For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you; Neither did we eat any man's bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you: Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us. For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat. For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies. Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread. But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing." (II Thessalonians 3:7-13)

This is also the example that we need to use to apply it in the world tomorrow of how, you work to give instead of working to get. That is the way that Law is implemented.

The Nineth Commandment (PLAY FROM 1:05:47)

Coming on to the next one, number nine then; you shouldn't lie. You find very clearly over in James 3 but particuarly verse 8:

"But the tongue can no man tame..."

It says that no man can tame the tongue, no man can tame the tongue. What you have to do is you have to get the breathe right, the spirit right. It talks about how can you have a fountain giving two types of water, you can't. You have to get that fountain pure. Get the fountain right and the rest will follow.

Remember you are dealing with these people now in the Millennium and they can see the result. They can see a Creator at work creating righteousness within the world. A Creator at work and they start to understand what is underneath all the creation; the Word of God. They will see animals tame. They will see animals changed, transformed. How do you get an animal changed like that? Well you have to go into the code and change the code, so there has got to be a code there, I say code, the Word of God is what the entire animal creation was made by.

It is the same as a computer. When you have got a computer there, and as I mentioned about the windows. You can make them round, you can make them whatever you want, as long as you are a programmer and you have got access to the code. If you don't have access to the code you can't do that. And the animals are going to suddenly change. And they will say; "I'm sure that people were eaten by lions?" Or whatever it will be, but they will say; "Why? What has happened?" Well the Word of God has said, that is going to happen, therefore it has happened. And they will start to understand, that OK, here is this Being that actually speaks and creates, as it says here in Philippians 3:8, and remember this is Christ who is King of kings at this time:

"Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord [the one who is over us, the King of kings that is over us at that time]: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, And be found in him [the same kind of body that He had, as the Christ, the Anointed One], not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law [which is taking the law as a list and ticking it off as a Pharisee, don't do it like that], but that which is through the faith of Christ [the faith that God will make us righteous, that God will make us perfect, will create in us His greatest creation, the faith of Christ], the righteousness which is of God by faith: That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead." (Philippians 3:8-11)

That is what he is looking for, he is looking to eventually becoming one of the kings which the King of kings is over, one of the students that then has that same mind. That actually nailed the Law, within one of those students. So that he can then teach that Law. Down in Philippians 3:20:

"For our [conduct or citizenship] is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself." (Philippians 3:20-21)

So we are going to be made like Him, and He is saying. "Look, we have got to become like Him mentally, we have got to have a mind like Him because we are going to become sons of God as He is a Son of God. And a son of God - as He is a Son of God - will have a body that subdues all things unto Himself." And how does that work? He speaks, He speaks and it is. The thing that subdues all things unto Himself is His tongue.

Go back in Genesis and you read it; "And God said, Let there be light: and there was light." (Genesis 1:3) "...let the dry land appear: and it was so." (Genesis 1:9). Whatever He says is. He is the programmer, He really is the programmer to beat all programmers and we have got to be made like unto Him. And they will see the result, they will see this family of God beings. They will see the end result, the power that is there. How these beings speak and things happen.

And when it says you shouldn't lie, speaking to get for yourself and being scurrilous, devious and all the rest of it, that's not what it is all about. It is a case that you speak to give because that is the way the Creator is. The Creator speaks to give. He gives life and breath and all things, everything that we have. And how has He done it? By speaking. By changing the mind - from one Tree you go to another Tree. That mind changes, and what are these people doing? They are trying to learn to become God beings themselves.

Again all these Commandments, these last six, sit on the first four. You have got to understand this relationship which is between man and God which is a relationship between a child and his father, or a potential child and his father. And these other ones sit on the first four and then show us also how this kind of being has got to exist, how he has got to behave. In Ephesians 3:14, it says:

"For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God." (Ephesians 3:14-19)

That is what he is saying to the Church, he says to us - we disciples, we students - that have to have the Law sealed within us. In Ephesians 4:13. it says:

"Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ [that is not possible humanly; it is only possible through God and His Spirit and Him working with us]: But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: From whom the whole body fitly joined together..." (Ephesians 4:14-16)

It goes down then into Ephesians 4:23:

"And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another." (Ephesians 4:23-25)

We are all in this together. We are members one of another. We are one family, which again is the introductory part at the end of Ephesians 3 which is what we have been talking about. And this one family is a family which controls reality by the tongue. What they say will be. That is what we are aiming for. And when we are dealing with people in the Millennium we are dealing with people who are also going to be part of the family. They are going to become sons and daughters of God. The use of their tongue has got to be absolutely pure. And if you look therefore at society, what are you going to have in a society like that? Notice in Ephesians 4:29, it says:

"Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers." (Ephesians 4:29)

Grace to the hearer. People who listen to whatever word you have are benefited by it. This again is what we will be getting across to people.

What about advertising in the Millennium? You have got to let people know about whatever it is that you are producing. You might have your little shop there in the back and whatever are producing there. But what kind of advertising will it be that it will have grace to the hearer? You don't lie. It is not the scurrilous, devious and all the rest of it. That is not the place.

What about newspapers? What will be in the newspapers? Again it will be edifying, it will be encouraging, it will be uplifting. It will not be the tabloid that we have today. Will there even be TV or radio? Well if there is some kind of TV or radio or whatever, it is going to be used properly. The workplace, the family, the Church. The Church; we also need to understand, we need to make sure we don't go behind someone's back and go ahead and snipe and all the rest of it.

The use of the tongue. The tongue is the part of the God being that does the creating. It is coming from within but it appears that He speaks and it is. The breath, the spirit that comes out is then controlled in a certain way to make whatever it is that is produced. So it is essential that lying has no place at all; and therefore we have a society where that is the case as well.

The Tenth Commandment (PLAY FROM 1:15:42)

And finally you come to you shouldn't covet. Now the Millennium is going to be a time of contentment. Covetness is the antithesis of contentment - I mean, if you covet something - you want it.

I remember one of our children, all that was wanted was; "If I had that bike, a purple 'Muddy Fox', I would be happy from here to eternity!" That would be it. If I only had a skateboard, that is all I want, a skateboard. If I had a better skateboard it would be even better and on it would go. And every single time he would get that and then the next thing would come in. It would be one thing after another. So eventually we said; "You save it up, you want it, you save it up." And use it as a lesson. But these are the concepts. Why did he think that? Because of advertising. Why? Because advertising makes you covetous. You want things, you want to get, to have things for yourself. And what is in our heart at that time, what is in the very heart of man, is whatever he wants to get.

What does this Book say needs to be in the heart when you are looking at the Millennium? It is a New Covenant with the Law of God written in the heart. That is the heart and core of everything. The Torah, the way of God, the thinking of God, the mind of God is in the very heart of man and it replaces the covetous heart which is there which is an idolatrous heart that you find is in the world outside and within us now here in our present society. And we have got to get a society change and switched off that covetous into the kind of Torah, the thinking, the mind of God, coming from the very Spirit of God that then produces the fruit of God, that produces the Utopia. This is what it is at. This is what the whole system is about. Turn over to Hebrews 7:11, it says:

"If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law [they received the Torah under the Levitical priesthood],) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?" (Hebrews 7:11)

So here is this order of Melchisedec, here is the High Priest, which is Jesus Christ, the King of kings. So what are the kings? They are of the order of Melchisedec, they are also are of the order of Melchisedec; the Priest-Kings. Here it talks here about this Levitical Priesthood, for under it the people received the Law. The interesting point that I noticed about a year ago that in Hebrews 8:6, if you notice:

"But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which [receives the law] upon better promises." (Hebrews 8:6)

You go back into the interlinear and look at the wording in the Greek. They are identical; "it receives the law on better promises". That is what it actually says in the original. Go and check it. So here we see this more excellent ministry receiving the Law upon better promises. Hebrews 8:7:

"For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. For finding fault with them [this was the problem], he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws [my Torah, it is not Torah here but it is in the original I will put my Torah] into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:" (Hebrews 8:7-10)

That is what is going to be in the heart. It is not covetousness which is going to be in the heart, but the very Law of God. And Hebrews 8:11 says here:

"And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest." (Hebrews 8:11)

We are looking to actually be part of that process. Let's go back to Isaiah 32:1 again, I know we have had it many times before. The entire Torah is to be in our heart, the Commandments, the phrases that sum up the Torah, the way of life, the mindset of God; those phrases have got to be in our hearts. They have to be written as far as the principles are concerned. You are looking at honouring father and mother. You are looking at you shouldn't kill, it's more than just not killing, adultery, stealing, lying, covetousness; It produces a contentment that is necessary and here it says:

"Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment." (Isaiah 32:1)

Now that is what our destiny is. That is why you and I are in Church. We are not here for our own salvation. We are here to learn, to make sure we are students and that the Law is sealed amongst those students, and the Torah, the very way of God. And the result as it says here in Isaiah 32:17:

"And the work of righteousness [and all thy commandments are righteousness] shall be peace..." (Isaiah 32:17)

That is how peace will come, it is the implementation of these Commandments. It is the implementation in the New Covenant sense, where the Commandments are written in the heart. And they produce the right fruit; it is the Two Trees.

"...and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever." (Isaiah 32:17)
