UK - In a study conducted by the Henry Jackson Society, Britain’s economic power, technological prowess, military strength and cultural prestige means that the UK is in a “remarkably strong” position post-Brexit.
The Henry Jackson Society’s executive director Dr Alan Mendoza said the findings debunked a widespread “narrative of decline” in which Donald Trump’s victory and the Brexit vote are presented as signs of both countries losing their global power.
Dr Mendoza said: “For all the doom and gloom surrounding the implications of Brexit, the reality shines through that the UK remains a leading global power nation, with immense soft and hard power capabilities. The lesson of this report is clear: our future is what we choose to make of it.”
The United States scored 100/100 due to the country’s “vast and overwhelming resources and capabilities, with the means to extend them pervasively in all regions of the world." The other countries were calculated compared to the United States.
Some see Brexit as the answer to all the UK’s problems. However, negotiations don’t seem to be achieving anything so far. With so much hostility in Europe towards Britain, it’s hard to see any agreement anytime soon. Both the UK and the USA are heavily in debt – with little hope of ever paying it off. Both nations are divided politically and tensions continue to rise.
The attitude expressed in this article was prophesied many years ago by the prophet Isaiah. He was inspired to write:
“The Lord sent a word into Jacob, and it hath lighted upon Israel. And all the people shall know, even Ephraim and the inhabitant of Samaria, that say in the pride and stoutness of heart, ' The bricks are fallen down, but we will build with hewn stones: the sycamores are cut down, but we will change them into cedars.'
Therefore the LORD shall set up the adversaries of Rezin against him, and join his enemies together; The Syrians before, and the Philistines behind; and they shall devour Israel with open mouth. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still. For the people turneth not unto him that smiteth them, neither do they seek the LORD of hosts.
Therefore the LORD will cut off from Israel head and tail, branch and rush, in one day. The ancient and honourable, he is the head; and the prophet that teacheth lies, he is the tail. For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed.” (Isaiah 9:8-16)

The confusion is not merely around the Church – within the religions of the world outside – but WITHIN the very heart of The True Church itself!
