| Many religious people believe that the Law of God was nailed to the cross - freeing us to ignore most of what is written in the Old Testament. The truth is that it was Christ, not the Law, who was nailed to the cross - taking with Him the charge-sheet of our sins upon repentance and so wiping the slate clean. But the sacrificial system - added upon Israel's transgressions - is indeed no longer required following Christ's sacrifice.
