Trump brings God into negotiations

ISRAEL - It is somewhat ironic that Donald Trump, a former real estate magnate, is the one seemingly departing from the position that this conflict is merely about competing claims to a piece of land. Instead, he appears eager to effect a paradigm shift: Rather than approaching Israel/Palestine as a property that a good negotiator can convince both parties to divide, he approaches the issue, at least initially, as a conflict of good versus evil that could easily be solved if only the good people of all religions would unite against those abusing faith for their wicked ends.

Trump & 55 Muslim-majority states sign pact

MIDDLE EAST - The US and Middle Eastern countries have backed a new pact that promises to provide extra troops for defeating Islamic State, singles out Iran for destabilizing the region, and says that Riyadh is to become the heart of the region’s counter-terrorism operations.

Moving Embassy Will End Peace Process

ISRAEL - Moving the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem would end the peace process between Israel and the Palestinians, senior Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat warned on Saturday. “We believe that moving the US embassy to Jerusalem would mean the end of the peace process,” said Erekat, who is also secretary-general of the Palestine Liberation Organisation (PLO), during a World Economic Forum meeting at the Dead Sea in Jordan on Saturday.

North Korea: One Step Closer To WWIII?

NORTH KOREA - North Korea is clearly led by an unhinged and tyrannical government that can’t be trusted with nuclear weapons. So you can understand why the US is so determined to stop their progress with these weapons. But at the same time, those nuclear weapons could one day guarantee that the leaders of North Korea will remain in power for a long time. Those weapons would make any potential aggressor think twice about trying to invade the bellicose nation, so there’s no way that North Korea is going to abandon its nuclear program.

New French president ‘will not recognise Palestine’

FRANCE - Newly elected French President Emmanuel Macron has reiterated that he will not recognise Palestine as a state as it would hinder good relations between Israel and France. Prior to his election win, Macron said he backs a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and that recognising Palestine would cause instability and he would not risk France’s relationship with Israel to serve the Palestinian agenda. At a political rally Macron said: “Unilateral recognition of Palestine, right now, will undermine stability. That’s right. France’s new liberal president would rather maintain good relations with Israel than recognize ‘Palestine’.” French Jews may have voted en masse for Emmanuel Macron in the final round of France’s presidential elections, but that doesn’t make him their dream president.

Japan's ageing emperor's abdication is approved

JAPAN - The Japanese government has approved Emperor Akihito's abdication from the Chrysanthemum Throne in the first such case in two centuries. The one-off bill, signed off by Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's cabinet, has sparked a possible succession crisis in the same week that his eldest granddaughter Princess Mako gave up her place in the Palace by agreeing to marry a 'commoner'. As with all female members of the Imperial family, Mako, 25, would lose her royal status upon marriage to a commoner under a controversial law which does not apply to male 'royals'. The 83-year-old Akihito could step down the end of December 2018 and be replaced by his son, Crown Prince Naruhito, reports have suggested.

Black Professor Teaches Students To ‘Kill White People’

USA - Even as “concerned students” rally to his defense, former students are revealing even more recordings of a Texas A&M professor advocating violence against white people. Dr Tommy Curry became a focus of controversy last week when recordings surfaced of a 2012 podcast interview in which he discussed “killing white people in context” and asserted that, “In order to be equal, in order to be liberated, some white people may have to die.” Campus Reform spoke with the co-founder of Support Aggies, a Texas A&M graduate who rejected the argument that Curry’s statements are protected by academic freedom, arguing that “academic freedom does not mean that radical activists have the right to promote racism and violence in the classroom."

Six Diseases Return To USA

USA - Six diseases that were recently near eradication are making a comeback in the United States, as the taxpayer funded refugee resettlement industry launches a propaganda blitz about the so-called World Refugee Day this Monday.

President Trump’s speech on arrival in Israel

ISRAEL - "President Rivlin, Mrs Rivlin, Prime Minister Netanyahu, Mrs Netanyahu, thank you very much. I am deeply grateful for your invitation and very, very honored to be with you. On my first overseas trip as president, I have come to this sacred and ancient land to reaffirm the unbreakable bond between the United States and the State of Israel.

Trump makes history as first serving US president to visit Western Wall

ISRAEL - After walking to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the President dons a black kippah to visit Jewish holy site, slipping a prayer note into its stones. Fifty years after Israel captured the Western Wall, US President Donald Trump on Monday became the first sitting American leader to visit the holy site, in a historic visit that saw him accompanied by his Jewish relatives in Jerusalem’s ancient Old City.

Germany’s largest bank is returning to its roots

GERMANY - For several years it was one of Deutsche Bank’s most awkward rituals. Anshu Jain, an Indian-born British citizen who was co-CEO from 2012 to 2015, would address shareholders at the annual general meeting in English, but with his microphone switched off so the speech could be simultaneously translated and broadcast for the German-speaking crowd in Frankfurt. Many in the audience saw it as a sign of just how far Germany’s largest bank had drifted away from its homeland.

Netanyahu: Temple Mount Will Forever Remain Under Israeli Control

ISRAEL - Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke on Sunday evening, marking 50 years since the reunification of Jerusalem, saying the city had been "liberated," not "occupied," and that the Western Wall and Temple Mount would forever remain under Israeli control.

Saudi Proposal to Israel Could Be the Stuff of Trump’s Dream Deal in Mideast

MIDDLE EAST - A silence fell on Arab media outlets after publication of a report about the Gulf States’ plan for partial normalization with Israel. No official response by Saudi Arabia, the Gulf States or Qatar was heard. The regular pundits preferred to deal with other matters, as if they had neither heard nor seen the scoop in the Wall Street Journal. The usual government spokespeople in Israel were also apparently struck by a condition affecting the vocal chords.

Donald Trump should worry about another 9/11

IRAN - Donald Trump should spend his time usefully in Riyadh by discussing how to avoid his Saudi hosts carrying out another 9/11 atrocity in the US instead of making baseless claims of terrorism against other countries, Iran’s foreign minister has advised. In his speech to Arab heads of state in the Saudi capital, Mr Trump repeatedly attacked Iran, claiming it “funds arms, trains militias that spread destruction and chaos” and pointing to Iran’s support for Syria’s Bashar al-Assad as he committed “unspeakable crimes”.

Trump: Billion Dollar Arms Sale to Saudi Arabia

SAUDI ARABIA - The incredible $110 billion arms deal, which is slated to grow to an inconceivable $380 billion Saudi investment within the next decade, is bound to elicit mixed emotions. Yes, it’s a valuable shot in the arm for the American economy and could create thousands of jobs. But Saudi Arabia is one of the least liked countries in the US, loathed slightly less than Russia, according to a February 2017 Gallup poll, but significantly more than China or Cuba, which are both far from favorites on the list.

“Just what is an APOSTLE?”
Just what is an Apostle?

Today we find the Church of God in a “wilderness of religious confusion!”

The confusion is not merely around the Church – within the religions of the world outside – but WITHIN the very heart of The True Church itself!

Listen to Me, You who know righteousness, You people in whose heart is My Law: …I have put My words in your mouth, I have covered you with the shadow of My hand, That I may plant the heavens, Lay the foundations of the earth, and say to Zion, “you are My people” (Isaiah 51:7,16)
