Fast forward to 2017, and what does Rowan Blanchard, a fifteen year-young female Disney starlet believe? She’s a big proponent of “intersectional feminism” and abortion. On a recent Instagram post, the teen declared her unwavering support for abortion to over five million of her impressionable followers. One of her female heroes is Cecile Richardson, the CEO of Planned Parenthood.

Rowan Blanchard appears to be clueless that the origins of planned parenthood and the mind of its progenitor Margaret Sanger was to eliminate people of color and those Sanger and other eugenicists felt were unfit. It would be a good bet that Ms Blanchard hasn’t given much thought to the invasive and damaging techniques used to extract, cut, and tear out 60 million unborn American children from the womb of their mothers since 1973. Or that her hero Cecile Richardson is the head of an organization that sells fetal body parts for profit.

“That’s difficult enough already for two reasons: Because it is from the Americans that we obtained our liberal democracy in the first place; and because it is unclear how the brute and choleric man on the other side will react to diplomatic pressure,” he wrote. “The fact that opposition to the American government can only succeed when mounted together with Asian and African partners — and no doubt with our partners in Europe, with the [European Union] — doesn’t make the situation any easier.”

In one of the toughest sections of the editorial, Brinkbäumer described Trump as a "pathological liar" and racist. “It is literally painful to write this sentence, but the president of the United States is a pathological liar,” he wrote. "The president of the US is a racist (it also hurts to write this)." "He is attempting a coup from the top; he wants to establish an illiberal democracy, or worse; he wants to undermine the balance of power,” Brinkbäumer added.

Trump's election has unnerved some US allies, who watched some of Trump's rhetoric during the campaign with alarm. The speaker of the House of Commons in Great Britain on Monday separately said that Trump should not be invited to speak to that legislative body. 

The destructive energy of the Trump movement could prove to be a great test for America, a country where liberal powers are so well organized that they won't give up without a fight. Eric Schneiderman, attorney general of the state of New York, is one of many to have sounded the warning bells, saying that Trump "does not have respect for the rule of the law." The country, Schneiderman said, is facing "a crisis over whether the Constitution is respected or not."

The first victim has been the government apparatus in Washington, DC. Already, Trump's quartet in the White House has essentially obliterated all traces of predecessor Barack Obama. The president rapidly fired the acting attorney general because she considered Trump's travel ban to be illegal, while other high-ranking officials have either been let go or have left of their own accord.

Entire hallways in US departments are now empty, with replacements yet to be found. Trump campaigned on a pledge to declare war on the capital and to "drain the swamp." And he has kept his word to a fault. Nowhere has that been more visible than in the State Department at the end of Trump's first week in office. There has always been an unwritten rule in Washington that the new leadership works together with established State Department staff for at least enough time for knowledge to be transferred. But Trump ignored the tradition. In the first week of his presidency, almost the entire leadership of the State Department was forced to resign, including Under Secretary of State Patrick Kennedy and three additional senior officials. They had all worked under both Republican and Democratic administrations in the past.

"Nobody knows what will happen next," says one top official. "It's not about individual fates. My concern is where the country is heading." Indeed, the speed with which Trump has introduced his agenda has been dizzying. Two weeks ago, a black president, Barack Obama, was still sitting in the White House. He found it vital to avoid making all 1.6 billion Muslims in the world responsible for terrorism. He didn't want America to isolate itself. He helped push through the Paris climate agreement, he respected the European Union and he told Angela Merkel in farewell that she would likely have to take over the role of leading the free world.

Was that really just two weeks ago?

As so often in Schulz’s unlikely political career, he is having the last laugh. News Monday that the SPD had overtaken Merkel’s Christian Democrats for the first time in more than a decade in a regular horse-race poll published by the daily Bild sent shockwaves through Berlin. A flurry of recent polls had shown the SPD gaining steam, but few believed the SPD would actually pull ahead.  The big question is whether the Schulz effect is sustainable.

What worries Merkel’s camp is that Schulz’s strengths, his rhetorical skills and newcomer appeal, are qualities Merkel can’t match.  That’s already apparent on social media. A Reddit forum called the_schulz (a play on Trump’s “The Donald” moniker) has become a sensation, spawning a flurry of pro-Schulz memes and the acronym “MEGA,” for Making Europe Great Again.  Though half in jest, the often exaggerated testimonials, including regular references to Schulz as “Chancellor God,” are creating buzz around Schulz’s campaign, adding to its momentum.

Even Merkel’s allies are warning of Merkel fatigue. “Is Germany tired of Merkel?” the right-leaning Bild asked Tuesday.

This might explain their behavior in the wake of Donald Trump’s trouncing of Hillary Clinton. Generosity demands that we forgive these precious snowflakes and hope that they grow up. The real problem is with people assumed to be grown-ups — college professors and administrators who tolerate and give aid and comfort to our aberrant youth. Let’s look at tiny samples of it. To help avoid microaggressions, the University of North Carolina administration posted a notice urging staff and faculty members to avoid phrases such as “husband/boyfriend,” which they claim is heteronormative (!!!), and “Christmas vacation” (!!! oh the outrage), which “minimizes non-Christian spiritual rituals.”

This winter, the Oregon State University administration will treat its students to a new class that promises to teach them about how blacks have historically resisted white supremacists. Professor Dwaine Plaza, one of three instructors for the course, said the idea was inspired by Trump’s election, which he fears will take the country back to the 1960s (!!! I remember the 60s.  I kind of liked them, especially the music). The University of Maryland is hosting a series of postelection lectures on how a “commitment to white supremacy (!!!)” gave Trump momentum and blaming “white America’s spiritual depravity (!!!)” for his rise to power. One of the topics will be “Make America White Again? The Racial Reasoning of American Nationalism.” 

Snowflake indulgence has been fostered by the education establishment and, more recently, by federal law. One of the most popular features of Obamacare is its provision that children can remain on their parents’ health care plan until they are 26 years old. That promotes prolonged adolescence, sparing the necessity for youngsters to get out on their own.

Some have criticized my lack of sympathy for snowflakes in the wake of their emotional trauma resulting from Trump’s defeat of Clinton. Here’s my question to you: How much sympathy would you have for those 18- to 24-year-olds who are in the military if they conducted themselves — on aircraft carriers, in nuclear submarines and in special forces — just as college snowflakes did in the wake of the Trump victory?

You want to know where all this victim-oriented “I’m triggered” and “I need a safe space” comes from? You just found it. It’s a short step from being diagnosed with a mental disorder to adopting the role of being super-sensitive to “triggers.” You could call it a self-fulfilling prophecy. “If I have a mental disorder, then I’m a victim, and then what people say and do around me is going disturb me… and I’ll prove it.”

The dangerous and destabilizing effects of psychiatric drugs confirm this attitude. The drugs DO, in fact, produce an exaggerated and distorted sensitivity to a person’s environment. You want to know where a certain amount of violent aggressive behavior on campuses comes from? You just found it. The psychiatric drugs. In particular, antidepressants and speed-type medications for ADHD.

You want to know why so many college students can’t focus on their studies? You just found one reason. The brain effects of the drugs. The usual variety of student problems are translated into pseudoscientific categories of “mental disorders” — and toxic drugging ensues.

And that Fukushima’s reactors had actually suffered something much worse than a total meltdown: nuclear melt-throughs, where the nuclear fuel melted through the containment vessels and into the ground.   A few months later, we reported that radiation will pollute the area around Chernobyl for 5 to 10 times longer than models predicted – between 180 and 320 years.

The following year, we pointed out that the operator of the Fukushima plant admitted that they couldn’t find the  melted fuel from Fukushima reactor number 2 … and that the technology doesn’t yet even exist to clean up Fukushima.

The highest radiation levels ever measured at Chernobyl were 300 sieverts per hour … an incomprehensibly high dose which can kill a man almost instantly. But a radiation level of 530 sieverts per hour has just been measured at Fukushima’s number 2 reactor. This new record at Fukushima is 70% higher than that of Chernobyl.

The father-of-one, who has been street preaching for seven years following his conversion to Christianity, was handing out leaflets in his home town of Irvine, Ayrshire, last June when a group of young men passed him, The Telegraph has reported. He told the men: “Don’t forget Jesus loves you and He died for your sins.” One asked Mr Larmour, “What does your God say about homosexuals?” He responded by referring to the Book of Genesis, stating that God had created Adam and Eve to produce children.

The two men argued and Mr Larmour claims that he was chased by the young man. However, it was he who was arrested and frogmarched to the police van before being held in police custody overnight, charged with threatening or abusive behaviour aggravated by prejudice relating to sexual orientation.

“I think the police should have handled it differently and listened to what I had to say. They should have calmed the boy down and left it at that,” Mr. Larmour told the Scottish Herald on Sunday. He added: “In court the boy’s friend told the truth – that I hadn’t assaulted him or called him homophobic names. I had simply answered his question and told him about Adam and Eve and Heaven and Hell. Preaching from the Bible is not a crime.”

At a time when many of the old certainties have been overturned, few questions seem inappropriate. So in that spirit, I have one for those gathering in Munich to consider: is it time for Germany to go nuclear? Simply entertaining the thought might seem grossly irresponsible. The world, surely, has quite enough nuclear powers already. Also, history makes Germany an unlikely candidate to join the club — even if a fair number of the pioneers of the original atomic bomb were German émigrés, thus making the country sort-of present at the creation of mass destruction.

German defence policy has long been characterised by restraint — sometimes to the frustration of its allies — and is obliged by international treaty not to take up nuclear arms. This makes it all the more remarkable that the nuclear option is being countenanced in Berlin, as part of a wider discussion about how Germany might need to reposition itself in a fast-changing geopolitical environment — one in which talk of a break up of the “supranational” EU or the “obsolescence” of Nato is almost routine.

The spark for the nuclear part of this discussion was provided by the election of Donald Trump. A few days ahead of the US presidential vote, an article in Spiegel Online asked whether, with the election of an American administration that may no longer care so much for Europe or Nato, Germany might need to pursue its own, or a European, nuclear deterrent.

This was later echoed by Roderich Kiesewetter, a foreign policy spokesman in parliament for the ruling Christian Democrats and a former colonel. He told Reuters that if the US no longer wanted to provide a nuclear shield, then “Europe still needs nuclear protection for deterrent purposes”. A subsequent opinion piece by one of the publishers of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Germany’s conservative paper of record, made a similar case and suggested that it was time the country reconsidered things long deemed “unthinkable”.

For years, the Federal Reserve has been encouraging reckless borrowing and spending by pushing interest rates to ultra-low levels.  Unfortunately, this created an absolutely enormous debt bubble, and now that debt bubble is beginning to burst.  Despite all of the economic optimism that is out there right now, the truth is that US consumers are tapped out.

If the US economy truly was doing great, major retailers would not be closing hundreds of stores.  Sears, Macy’s and a whole host of other big retailers are closing stores because those stores are losing money.  It truly is a "retail apocalypse", and this trend is not going to turn around until US consumers start to become healthier financially.

A lot of attention is given to our 20 trillion dollar national debt, and rightly so, but a similar amount of attention should be paid to the fact that US households are collectively more than 12 trillion dollars in debt. About two-thirds of the nation is essentially living paycheck to paycheck.  Most families really struggle to pay the bills from month to month, and all it would take is a major event such as a job loss or a significant illness to plunge them into financial oblivion.

In America today we are told that the secret to success is a college education, but most young Americans have to go deep into debt to afford such an education. As a result, most college graduates start out life in the “real world” with a mountain of debt.  And since many of them never find the “good jobs” that they were promised, repayment of that debt becomes a very big issue. 

The poor downtrodden lead plaintiff in this case happens to be named “State of Washington” and the lawyers just happen to mostly be working for George Soros. This was George Soros’ case against Donald Trump, nothing more and nothing less. The lawyers involved in this case are working with (or employed by) organizations headed up by the ACLU. The American Civil Liberties Union was formed in 1920 and today has more than a million members, around 200 full time lawyers and more than 2000 volunteer lawyers and their estimated annual budget is around $150 million (this does not include affiliate organizations).

Of their $150 million budget, some comes from the taxpayer, some from settlements but a major part comes from donors. Top of this list is one George Soros. An open grant of $50 million was awarded to the ACLU in 2014 and the money keeps pouring in directly from Soros’ Open Society Foundation and other sources that are also sponsored by Soros.

The OSF has budgeted almost $100 million for US activities in 2017, predominantly to be spent on “Democratic Practice, Equality and Anti-discrimination, and Justice Reform”. The fact that a private citizen will be spending $100 million to enact changes in the democratic process and rule of law in a nation that is the benchmark of modern democracy is quite unnerving. This is nothing more than an attempt by George Soros to undermine and hinder any policy enacted by the Trump administration. Rule number one in media disinformation is to “put a heart tugging image to the cause”.

A warning letter, written by top Republicans and obtained by the Financial Times, accuses the Federal Reserve of burdening American businesses and workers with bad financial deals made with global central banks “without transparency, accountability, or the authority to do so”. The Federal Reserve’s involvement in secret international banking forums dealing with financial regulation must cease and desist immediately, according to the letter.

“This is unacceptable,” the letter states. “Accordingly, the Federal Reserve must cease all attempts to negotiate binding standards burdening American businesses until President Trump has had an opportunity to nominate and appoint officials that prioritize America’s best interests."

Francis gave Becciu, the Number 2 in the Vatican secretariat of state, "all necessary powers" to help lay the groundwork for a new constitution for the order, lead the spiritual renewal of its professed knights and prepare for the election of a new grand master, expected in three months. The Vatican's intervention with the sovereign group had provided fuel for Francis' conservative critics, who until Saturday had largely confined their concern with his mercy-over-morals papacy to blogs, interviews and conferences.

On Saturday, dozens of posters appeared around Rome featuring a stern-looking Francis and referencing the "decapitation" of the Knights and other actions Francis has taken against conservative, tradition-minded groups.

The order also enjoys sovereign status and has diplomatic relations with over 100 countries, the Holy See included.
