Mr Tusk took the tough stance amid upcoming negotiations following Britain's sensational Leave vote. He has already repeated warnings the UK will not have access to the single market without accepting the right of other EU nationals to move to the country.

Mr Tusk said: "No one should be seething with desire to punish, humiliate the British for what they have done to us." But if leaving the 28-country bloc was to become an attractive model of improving a country's standing, then other countries would also consider doing so. He added: "We cannot push them away from us, but we cannot let them profit from Brexit, as that would be lethal for the EU."

Echoing Mr Tusk's clear anti-Britain stance, German Chancellor Angela Merkel recently said that Britain would not be allowed to "cherry pick" what it wanted from the relationship while jettisoning aspects it did not like. The 27 states are to meet again to discuss their approach to Brexit in Slovak capital Bratislava on September 16. David Cameron's successor, Theresa May, is not expected to be invited.

Amid a surge in refugees, market turmoil and a slowdown in global trade, the Mediterranean country will not return to 2007 output levels before the mid-2020s, the fund has forecast. And the path back to pre-crisis levels is still subject to many risks, warned the IMF. Italy's banks and their "strained" balance sheets, which are swapped by very high levels of bad loans, were highlighted as a major area of vulnerability for the economy by the Washington-based organisation.

Productivity and investment growth are low, while the unemployment rate is still above 11 per cent - and even higher in some parts of the country and among younger people, added the IMF in its debrief. At the same time public debt is now close to 133 percent of GDP, which limits policymakers’ ability to respond to any shocks, said the fund.

The shock report, which plunges the Eurozone into further crisis, comes amid growing fears over Italy's banks among investors and politicians, which has prompted the government to draw up another emergency bailout plan - despite this being against European Union rules. Italian lenders are struggling with around €360 billion (£300 billion) of bad loans, which amounts about one third of the euro zone total.

Germany's DAX was down by 1.73 per cent, France's CAC by 1.71 per cent, Spain's IBEX all down by 1.7 per cent and Italy's FTSE MIB in the red by 0.43 per cent. All three of the continental markets are below their pre-referendum highs, with Italy's market worse hit and still down by around 10 per cent from the day before the vote to Brexit.

Investors are particularly worried about the future of Italy's banks, which hold billions of pounds worth of bad loans. Joshua Mahony, market analyst at trading platform IG, said: "Mainland European markets are suffering the most today, with the DAX, CAC and IBEX all heavily in the red as fear over the political and economic implications of a Brexit come back to the fore.

"The EU 27 is a net benefactor of UK trade and given the fixation upon immigration policy, there is reason to believe that in just over two-year’s time trade between the UK and EU will not be as free as is currently the case."

Jean-Claude Juncker, president of the European Commission, used blunt language in a speech in China warning that the country’s chances of gaining market economy status are directly related to its steel exports. “I do not want to dramatise this issue… but there is a clear link between the steel overcapacity of China and the market economy status for China,” Mr Juncker said.

Referring to the “painful adjustment” in the European steel industry as massive overcapacity was cut in the 1970s and 1980s, taking “tens of thousands” of jobs with it, the EC president added: “I know how painful this adjustment process can be. I have some understanding for the problems our Chinese friends are facing when it comes to the reduction of steel production in China, when it comes to the closing of steel plants. But when we say that market rules have to apply, the Chinese know exactly that this, in concrete terms, means the closing down of steel plants.”

Britain’s steel sector has been brought to its knees by global overcapacity in the industry, with low-cost producers such as China dumping excess production on foreign markets – often at a loss - in response to falling domestic demand.

Last weekend’s NATO summit in Warsaw revealed the aggressiveness with which the German government has been pursuing this goal in the subsequent two years. In a statement prior to the summit, German chancellor Angela Merkel provided an overview of German imperialism’s plans for rearmament and war. Along with a massive increase to the defence budget, the chancellor announced stepped-up engagement of the German army and NATO in Iraq, Syria, Libya, the Mediterranean Sea, Afghanistan, and Eastern Europe.

“In recent years, the issue was only how the German army could support civil authorities in natural disasters. In the future, we must again think in the opposite direction: how civil authorities can assist the armed forces to fulfil their tasks.”

The two primary branches of their family tree, white mainline and white evangelical Protestants, offer competing narratives about their decline. White mainline Protestants blame evangelical Protestants for turning off the younger generation with their anti-gay rhetoric and tendency to conflate Christianity with conservative, nationalist politics.

White evangelical Protestants, on the other hand, blame mainline Protestants for undermining Christianity because of their willingness to sell out traditional beliefs to accommodate contemporary culture. When Obama was re-elected in 2012, population experts forecasted that by 2060 whites will see their numbers decline for the first time in American history, while the number of people who identify as multiracial will nearly triple and the number of Hispanics and Asians will more than double.

Mark Mather, a demographer with the Population Reference Bureau, summed up the magnitude of these shifts for The New York Times: “No other country has experienced such rapid racial and ethnic change.”

Since March of this year, SuperStation95 has been reporting the Italian banking system is a “leaning tower” heading toward collapse at literally any moment. And as Italy’s banks begin to go down like dominoes, it is going to set off financial panic all over Europe unlike anything we have ever seen before. We even wrote about the troubles in Italy back in January, but since that time the crisis has escalated. At this point, Italian banking stocks have declined a whopping 68 percent since the beginning of 2016, and when you look at some of the biggest Italian banks the numbers become even more frightening.

Shares of Monte dei Paschi were down 4.7 percent, and they have now plummeted 86 percent since the start of the year. Shares of Carige were down 38 percent, and they have now plunged a total of 88 percent since the start of the year. This is what a financial crisis looks like, and just like we are seeing in South America, the problems in Italy appear to be significantly accelerating.

So what makes Italy so important? Well, we all saw how difficult it was for the rest of Europe to come up with a plan to rescue Greece. But Greece is relatively small – they only have the 44th largest economy in the world. The Italian economy is far larger. Italy has the 8th largest economy in the world, and their government debt to GDP ratio is currently sitting at about 132 percent.

There is no way that Europe has the resources or the ability to handle a full meltdown of the Italian financial system. Unfortunately, that is precisely what is happening. Italian banks are absolutely drowning in non-performing loans, and represents “the greatest threat to the world’s already burdened financial system." As this "run" continues, Italian banks will fail and be closed. Once they are closed, it will begin to take out big banks elsewhere in Europe, from whom the Italian Banks have borrowed. That will spark bank runs in Europe, and some very (VERY) large banks in Europe will fail. Once that happens, it will hit Banks in the USA… game over.

Under German rules enacted 40 years ago last month, labour representatives hold half of the seats on the supervisory boards of any company with 2,000 or more workers. Mitbestimmung was a British invention. It was introduced on a large scale by British occupying authorities in the postwar German coal and steel industry, to “prevent it remilitarising”, says Markus Roth, an authority on comparative corporate governance at the Philipps-Universität Marburg.

Experts say it played a critical role in the German Wirtschaftswunder, or economic miracle, creating a model of labour relations based on consensus rather than confrontation. It was also one of the reasons Germany was able to avoid the industrial strife that paralysed Britain’s economy in the 1970s.

Commenting on NATO’s recent military exercises in Poland and the Baltics, Steinmeier said, “What we shouldn’t do now is inflame the situation further through saber-rattling and warmongering. Whoever believes that a symbolic tank parade on the alliance’s eastern border will bring security is mistaken. We are well-advised to not create pretexts to renew an old confrontation. [It would be] fatal to search only for military solutions and a policy of deterrence.”

His dread is not to be dismissed since it comes from a man who is in a position to know what the US is up to. His words reflect the fears of ever more people across all of Eurasia from France in the West to Japan in the East. Under the euphemism of “containment,” the US is relentlessly advancing its new Cold War on Russia and China. Its instrument in the West is NATO and in the East, Japan and whatever other worthies can be sharked up.

It is a Cold War that grows increasingly hotter, with proxy wars now raging in eastern Ukraine and Syria and with confrontations in the South China Sea. There is an ever growing likelihood that these points of tension will flare up into an all out military conflict.

The Permanent Court of Arbitration, set up in The Hague over a century ago to handle disputes between member countries, will issue a decision on Tuesday on a complaint brought three years ago by the Philippines about China's behaviour in the South China Sea. It's widely expected the ruling will come down on the Philippines' side. Even China seems to think so.

Calling the tribunal a "law-abusing farce" with no jurisdiction, and the impending ruling a "piece of trash paper," China has boycotted the entire proceedings. Instead, it is blocking off a big chunk of the disputed sea area for a major military exercise, taking out full-page ads in the world's newspapers and mounting a diplomatic full-court press to make the case it has refused to make before the tribunal.

Long-standing disputes among the countries that share the South China and East China seas with the Peoples' Republic have become more bitter and dangerous with China's growing military and financial muscle. There's a lot more at stake here than national pride. One-third of the world's shipping, commerce worth about $5-trillion a year, navigates these waters, and there are large oil and gas deposits beneath the surface.

Mikhail Gorbachev reportedly said after the summit that the decisions made at NATO summit in Warsaw should be regarded as a preparation for a hot war with Russia.

On Saturday, Gorbachev told Echo Moskvy in an interview that he sticks to what he had said earlier and that he considers NATO decisions short-sighted and dangerous. "Such steps lead to tension and disruption. Europe is splitting, the world is splitting. This is a wrong path for the global community" he said. "There are too many global and individual crises to abandon cooperation. It is essential to revive the dialogue."

If you believe any of these things, you are clinically insane and probably need to have your head examined.

Demand #1) It is demanded that you agree Caitlyn Jenner is a woman, even though Caitlyn (Bruce) was born a man, has the biology of a man and has the DNA of a man.

Demand #2) It is demanded that you support the illusion that gun laws will halt criminals from using guns to commit violence. The entire delusion hinges on the obviously false idea that people who routinely break the law will somehow magically abide by the law when you want them to.

Demand #3) It is demanded that you agree the economy is in fantastic shape and that unemployment is barely six percent, even though you and everyone you know has trouble finding a job or keeping a decent job these days.

Demand #4) It is demanded that you operate under the illusion that only “progressives” have compassion for women and children while, at the same time, supporting the partial birth abortion organ harvesting of living children at abortion centers across the country. This act of harvesting organs from babies, of course, requires killing the babies in the process.

Demand #5) It is demanded that you affirm Black Lives Matter is a “peaceful” movement even though a huge number of its activists routinely engage in mass violence, hate-filled rhetoric targeting whites and police officers, large-scale societal disruptions and now even give rise to murder against innocent people (such as Dallas police officers).

Demand #6) It is demanded that you agree police are never justified in shooting any black person at all, even if that black person was in the act of committing a violent crime or waving guns at police.

Demand #7) It is demanded that you embrace all illegal immigration as “compassionate” while strongly opposing national border security. You must welcome all illegals and grant them legal immunity in your sanctuary cities, even as illegals commit mass murder, rapes, robberies and lootings.

Demand #8) It is demanded that you reject all voter ID laws as “racist” on the absurd basis that making sure people can only vote once in each election is somehow inherently bigoted or unfair — even when it is technically a bedrock of democracy.

Demand #9) It is demanded that you disregard the fact that Islamic terrorists who carry out mass murder on US soil deliberately praise Allah (while the White House tries to censor the 911 phone calls to make sure you never hear those words). You must consider such acts to be “domestic terrorism,” not acts of terror inspired by a radicalized religion that preaches hatred for gays and women.

Demand #10) It is demanded that you believe all of society’s problems would be solved if only government were bigger and individual liberties were replaced with government mandates. The PC nanny state requires you to believe, for example, that parents should not have any real parental rights. All children are owned by the State, we’re told, and the State may decide to compel those children to be injected with mercury (flu shots) or killed with chemotherapy (cancer treatments) against the parents’ will.

Only government creates jobs, we’re told. Only government generates wealth. Only government can uplift the lives of the very people that now suffer under horrifically bad government policies. “You didn’t build that!” quips Obama, reminding us all that political correctness is deeply rooted in mass mental illness because none of these beliefs have a shred of truth to them.

(Government cannot create actual wealth; it can only confiscate it, redistribute it or destroy it. Usually it excels at all three…)

Remind yourself to stay rooted in reality. Do not be swayed against your own direct experience by the wishy washy narratives of the mentally ill. Spend more time in nature, where truth is evident with every foot step. The more contact you have with nature, the saner you will stay even as the world goes totally insane all around you.

In essence, all of us must now practice mental self-defense. We must defend our own minds from the twisted distortions, influence and psychological pollution of the PC zombies. This requires real dedication to clear thinking and the turning off of all mainstream media sources (which specialize in persuasively presenting false narratives as facts).

The more you read independent media, in other words, the saner you become as you cast off the false narratives and delusional lies of the PC culture. Rejecting political correctness is, in fact, an important first step in the art of mental self-defense. You must also reject the peer pressure from your lunatic friends and family members who often believe all ten of these PC falsehoods. Don’t try arguing with them, however: They’re probably too far gone to save with reason. It’s best to move on and make new friends who are already awakened and aware of what’s really going on.
