Though the case is about whether the 11-year-old can give informed consent to such serious medical treatment, which is intended to delay the onset of female puberty, the judge appears to have already conceded the point by referring to the girl by her preferred, male, initials JK, and accepting her male self-identification.

In his ruling, Mr Justice Ronald Skolrood declared that, “This case is really about JK and his role in determining his own future. In my view, these issues cannot be properly considered without JK's direct participation.”

The neighbor is being called transphobic — but perhaps the neighbor thought he was being pranked by a boy and reacted accordingly. Not everyone assumes that a boy in a dress selling Girl Scout cookies is transgender.

Stormi looked like a boy to the neighbor because he really is a boy. Transgender people may deceive themselves, but they do not deceive others. Life in society is not some fantasy world where a boy should pretend he has magically transformed himself into a girl simply by uttering the words “I am a girl” and changing how he presents himself.

Stormi could be in need of psychotherapy, not a dress. Caregivers all too often collaborate with a mental disorder instead of treating it. Telling a psychologically troubled boy he has changed genders is not compassion, but can become reckless parenting. By withholding psychotherapy, parents could be abusing the kid.

Parents are now having to wait up to nine months to take their child to a clinic after being referred by their GP. Figures from the Gender Identity Development Service show they treated three children aged three last year. Dr Polly Carmichael, from the clinic which is part of the Tavistock Centre, told The Sun the rise was unprecedented. 'Young people are making the full social transition — living full-time in their preferred gender inside and outside the home — at earlier ages,' she said.

Children and their parents talk to psychologists, psychiatrists and experts at the North London clinic as part of consultations. Poppy, now nine, has made the transition from a boy to a girl. She said: 'I didn't feel right as a boy. When I was little I'd go to a wishing well in my garden and wish I was a girl. I'm so happy now that wish has come true.' Children who attend the clinic can be given medication but would not be eligible for any gender reassignment surgery until 18.

Hormone blockers can be prescribed to children under 16 which helps to prevent the development of typically male or female features. Cross-sex hormones can then be given to children at 16 if they wish to continue treatment.

Simon Calvert, of the Christian Institute think-tank, has said that there was 'no way' that three-year-olds were capable of making 'such a life-changing choice'. Medics say the drugs given to under 16s are only there to give children more time to discover who they are as they grow up. Mr Calvert said: ‘The fact that children as young as three are transitioning gender proves this is to do with adult political ambitions and not with what is best for the children.

‘There is no way that a three-year-old is capable of making such a life-changing choice. What we will see in years to come are young adults whose lives have been ruined because their parents and doctors who should have known better told them they needed to transition gender when they were just going through a childhood phase.’

Hackers affiliated with Anonymous also claimed to have shut down several international banks over the past four days, including the National Reserve Bank of Tonga, the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston and the central banks of Sweden, Myanmar and Laos.

A hacktivist who goes by the name ‘S1ege’ claimed responsibility for the attacks, stating they want to “start an online revolution” to retaliate against the “elite banking cartels putting the world in a perpetual state of chaos.” S1ege, who is thought to be a member of the Ghost Squad branch of Anonymous, said the focus of future cyber-attacks will be “NASDAQ, NYSE and Paypal.”

According to IBTimes, none of the institutions subject to attack have disclosed the extent of damage. While some banks were taken down for only a few minutes, others were left offline for hours.

But the beer hall cancelled the booking after the party agreed a policy that Islam was "not part of Germany". Landlord Ricky Steinberg said he feared protests outside the venue. The province’s college of physicians told a Senate committee that some of the safeguards the government wants to impose are so stringent they will prevent many otherwise eligible patients from accessing an assisted death. It is a very alarming day when a medical association is so into the killing agenda that it wants a radical legislative proposal to go even further!

The transgendered and their supporters claim that people are merely assigned a sex at birth, their gender identity (how they feel) may or may not match their assigned sex. The goal is to force everyone to accept that gender identity should take precedence over the biological reality of sexual identity and men who claim to be women should be treated as though they were women. The ACLU complained that the school district challenged their “client’s identity as a girl,” which is true because their client is not a girl, but a boy. According to the ACLU, all “she wants to be accepted for who she is.”

The problem is that he wants to be accepted for who he is not. Their client claims that not allowing him to change with the girls stigmatizes him, “making me feel like I was not a normal person.” The simple answer is that it is not normal for a male to want to be accepted as female. The Bruce Jenner celebrity blitz and the battle over bathrooms, have brought the issue of gender to the fore and people are wondering how we got to the point where boys who think they are girls can use the girls’ locker room. What happened to common sense?

In my study of communist societies, I came to the conclusion that the purpose of communist propaganda was not to persuade or convince, nor to inform, but to humiliate; and therefore, the less it corresponded to reality the better. When people are forced to remain silent when they are being told the most obvious lies, or even worse when they are forced to repeat the lies themselves, they lose once and for all their sense of probity. To assent to obvious lies is to co-operate with evil, and in some small way to become evil oneself.

One's standing to resist anything is thus eroded, and even destroyed. The girls forced to accept a boy in their private space are being targeted for just this kind of humiliation. This is about much more than bathrooms.

Though it analogizes Russia’s mercurial relationship with Nazi Germany, the same volatility aptly fits US involvement in the Middle East — where, though propaganda would purport a decisive enemy, the truth remains far murkier. A constant state of undeclared but active war rules foreign policy — driven almost exclusively by the war machine’s profiteering from plundering of foreign lands’ natural resources.

Big Oil, Big Pharma, and the multi-faceted defense industry have experienced exponential profits since perpetual war became the de facto basis of foreign policy — and Big Banks share in the reward. But all of this war requires the US government to maintain support from the public — and what better way to win them over than appeal to fear of the Other?

Freedom is Slavery: How does a government persuade its citizens their enslavement would be desirable and beneficial? Frame it as necessary protection against any threat to their fundamental security — and implement more contentious aspects of said servitude in palatable microsteps. Fear of terrorism — or, more directly, xenophobia — constitutes sufficient reason for many to cast off basic human rights through increasingly invasive laws and governance.

Legislation, however, isn’t by far the sole vehicle available to the government. In a culture so utterly imbued in paranoia, neighbors aren’t only willing to spy on neighbors — or complete strangers, to that end — they’re willing to alert law enforcement should they observe … Something. Freedom to simply live one’s life, without harming another, has been co-opted by a State hell bent on maintaining slavish control of its people.

Erdogan's argument is that he wants the money to be transferred over to him directly to dispense with as he pleases, while Europe insists that UN agencies oversee that the money be spent as designated for refugee needs, instead of funding another wing for Erdogan's palace.

Of course, the only reason why Erdogan is confident he has leverage is because Turkey is currently hosting over 3 million Syrian refugees that he is holding back from flooding into Europe once more, potentially resulting in the most acute episode of Europe's refugee crisis. If the deal falls apart, Turkey will surely flood millions more in refugees who will unleash far more political havoc across Europe, and certainly Germany, than Greece ever could.

So for all those focusing closely on the risk of Brexit or developments in Greece this summer where the third Greek bailout may or may not give the insolvent nation a few more months before its next payment to the ECB is due while it pretends to "reform", a far bigger risk is what Greece's neighbor to the east, ruled by an unhinged, irrational president, will end up doing, and how Europe would respond if he actually follows through with his bluff.

While Jerusalem remains adamantly opposed to the French diplomatic initiative, enshrining Palestinian recognition of Israel as the nation state of the Jewish people would be an important step, Foreign Ministry director-general Dore Gold told The Jerusalem Post.

“There are many problems with the French initiative, one of them is the lack of recognition of a Jewish state,” Gold said Thursday. “But even if that were changed, it wouldn’t alter many fundamental problems with the French initiative.” Gold voiced anger at France’s vote last month at the UNESCO executive board meeting in favor of a resolution on Jerusalem that expunged any Jewish connection to the Temple Mount.

“When French diplomats vote for a resolution at UNESCO that rejects the historic Jewish connection to Jerusalem, it should not come as a surprise that Israel rejects the French initiative and the political horizon it aspires to ultimately expose,” he said.

Indeed you wouldn’t, except that in the case of Mr Cameron’s EU referendum, checking under the bonnet or commissioning a full structural survey of the implications of a Brexit vote is impossible - and designedly so. The uncertainty that underpins the EU referendum and Cameron's strategy for winning the vote on June 23, is also its greatest flaw. If the UK plumps for the exit door, we find ourselves in correspondingly much, much deeper trouble.

If the trick works - and the UK votes to remain - then Mr Cameron will congratulate himself on an unfair fight, well won. But if it doesn’t… well, that as the Prime Minister knows, that is where the serious problems begin.

In the event of a Brexit, we genuinely don't know what happens, and nor do the financiers and bureaucrats responsible for keeping the world spinning on its axis. We don’t even know the basics, such as who stays on as PM, or whether Article 50 would be instantly triggered, or how Germany and France would react, or what would happen to Sterling... there are simply too many variables to make sound predictions on these questions.

Which means that during this dispiritingly one-eyed campaign we also don’t know – can’t know – who is telling us the truth. Perhaps that’s the real reason why, as the polls tighten, as surveys show businesses warming to the idea of Brexit and the BBC 10 O'clock news implicitly ridicules the prime minister’s warnings of World War III with footage of Spitfires dog-fighting over the Channel, that Mr Cameron could be seen at his lectern, visibly starting to sweat.
