Many of those applicants are former workers at the Good Humor plant that was bought by Shenandoah Family Farms.

GERMANY - New allegations of corruption have been levelled at leading German arms manufacturers. According to a former employee of the Greek defense ministry and several mediators of the arms industry, German arms manufacturers paid millions in bribes to induce Athens to purchase German weaponry, worth several billion Euros.
USA - Buying marijuana for recreational use now is legal in Colorado — and paying for it with plastic is getting easier. The official rules of Visa Inc prohibit the use of their debit and credit cards for marijuana purchases, but some Colorado merchants are allowing customers to use them anyway.
ISRAEL - As US-brokered talks between Israel and the Palestinian Authority (PA) continue, amid pressure for further territorial concessions by Israel, a senior Palestinian Authority official has told Syrian TV that any agreement will simply be the "first stage" in eradicating Israel altogether.

ARGENTINA - Argentine foreign minister mocks British 'aggression' over Falkland Islands, claiming it has the world on its side in bid to claim territory. Argentina has ridiculed Britain as an impotent colonial aggressor on the wrong side of history in the Falklands dispute, insisting it will not be cowed by "verbal and military threats" as "the lion roars but does not inspire fear".
