The proposed “Pandemic Treaty”
USA - The World Health Organization is attempting a GLOBAL POWER GRAB by seeking to have the 194 member nations of the World Health Assembly adopt amendments to the International Health Regulations as well as adopt a completely new international agreement commonly referred to as the proposed “Pandemic Treaty.”.
The proposed amendments would make the WHO’s proclamations legally-binding rather than just advisory recommendations. The changes would institute global digital health certificates, dramatically increase the billions of dollars available to the WHO and enable nations to implement the regulations WITHOUT respect for the dignity, human rights and fundamental freedoms of people.
Agreement by a simple majority of the 194 member nations is all that is needed to adopt the amendments because, as amendments to an existing agreement, neither the advice and consent of the United States Senate, nor the signature of the President would be required. These amendments are being negotiated in secret without any opportunity for comment by people from around the world.
Davos: Swiss government will deploy 5,000 troops to provide security
SWITZERLAND - “The Federal Parliament has set a ceiling of 5,000 troops who will serve in support during the WEF, which will run from January 10 to 26. Some of them will be stationed directly in Davos, where the annual meeting will be held from January 16 to 20,” the statement read. According to the statement, other servicemen will provide logistics and air force operations support throughout Switzerland. Soldiers will be authorized to “use coercive police measures to carry out their respective tasks,” the government said. There will also be snipers on the roofs of most buildings, and in previous years, the Swiss Police have shot drones from the sky.
The WEF predicts that soon everyone will be able to ‘rent’ anything they need under the cover of ‘sustainable development’ (SDG’s) and ‘saving the planet’ (Net Zero). There is no doubt that the tiny elites who rolled out the great reset will own it all.
There has been fierce opposition to the WEF’s extremist agenda, including The Great Reset, Build Back Better, and You’ll Own Nothing and Be Happy. The WEF is now feeling the heat. In response to those who oppose its techno-tyranny, it has waged a defensive PR campaign recently. The World Economic Forum also recently canceled its Twitter feed in favour of Chinese state-run social media: TikTok.The Coronavirus pandemic has been the vehicle for the Great Reset conceived by Klaus Schwab of the WEF. Globalists intend to eradicate all borders, dismantle the free market, and drastically reduce the global population.
Poland to create new eastern infantry division
POLAND - The Polish military will create a new infantry division equipped with state-of-the-art hardware in the eastern part of the country, Poland’s Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak has said. Warsaw intends to put the new formation together “as soon as possible,” Blaszczak pledged on Monday. The division's main area of operations will be the Podlasie Province, bordering fellow NATO member Lithuania and also Belarus, which is a close ally of Russia.
According to the minister, the division will comprise four brigades, separated into four battalions. A division is a military formation, consisting of between 6,000 to 25,000 troops. The new forces will be armed with US-made Abrams and South Korean K-2 tanks, locally-made Krab and Korean K-9 howitzers, as well as reconnaissance drones, he said.
In his interview on Tuesday, Blaszczak expanded on the reasons for the creation of a new armed formation in that specific area. “We know who threatens us and where… For Poland, the main threat is Russia and its imperial tendencies. That is why more troops are needed in the east of the country and that’s why a new division is being set up,” he told the I.pl news portal.
Adani-led group completes purchase of Israel's Haifa Port
ISRAEL - The sale of one of Israel's main seaports has taken five years and marks the culmination of a nearly two-decade reform of an underperforming sector plagued for years by labour strikes. The country has been selling its state-owned ports and building new private docks in an effort to bring down costs and cut above-average waiting times for vessels to unload. About 99% of all goods move in and out of Israel by sea and port upgrades are needed to maintain economic growth.
Israel announced in July it would sell the port in Haifa, a major trade hub on the Mediterranean, to winning bidders Adani Ports (APSE.NS) and local chemicals and logistics group Gadot. China's Shanghai International Port Group (SIPG) last year opened a new port across the bay in Haifa. The entry of SIPG and the Adani-led group promises to boost Israel's standing as a regional trade hub.
Corrupted file grounded every US flight
USA - A corrupted file has been blamed for a glitch on the Federal Aviation Administration's computer system which saw every flight grounded across the US. All outbound flights were grounded until around 9am Eastern Time (2pm GMT) on Wednesday as the FAA worked to restore its Notice to Air Missions (NOTAM) system, which alerts pilots of potential hazards along a flight route. FAA and the White House said there was no evidence of a cyber attack, but they can’t say what caused the entire system to go down.
Canada’s flight entry system hit with “outage” after US and Philippines airspace shut down in last week. On Wednesday morning, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) announced that America’s airspace was shut down for several hours across the US. The FAA is the largest transportation agency of the US government that oversees many aspects of America’s aviation, including air traffic management.
On the same day, Canada’s NOTAM system was also hit with an “outage.” “NAV CANADA’S Canadian NOTAM entry system is currently experiencing an outage affecting newly issued NOTAMs, and we are working to restore function. We are not currently experiencing any delays related to this outage. We are assessing impacts to our operations and will provide updates as soon as they are available,” NAV Canada announced.
It is not just US and Canada, [Reuters] reported that the same event happened in the Philippines on New Year’s Day when all international flights were rerouted when the country’s airspace collapsed owing to technical issues. Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista apologized for the inconvenience to passengers as he blamed a power outage for the breakdown of the central air traffic control system. He said the outdated existing facility should be upgraded immediately and that a back-up system was also needed.
India is about to pass China as the world's most populous country
INDIA - India is expected to surpass China and become the world’s most populous nation within the next three months, according to a recent report by the United Nations’ population division, marking a seismic shift on the global stage in a trend with significant social and economic impact for both countries.
“Most people think India's economy is still a fraction of what it could be in the future, which means there's so much promise,” Dr Audrey Truschke, an associate professor of South Asian History at Rutgers University, told Yahoo News, adding that much of the potential is due in large part to India being “such a young country.”
Of the rapidly growing 1.41 billion people in India, about 1 in 4 are under the age of 15 and nearly half are under 25. By comparison, China’s population is about 1.45 billion, but those under 25 make up only a quarter of the population.
Trust the Science?
USA - Why should we not just blindly trust science? Prior to the 14th Century Astronomers thought the Earth was the center of the universe, because, well, that's what the church wanted, and spent hundreds of years of scientific research on the theory of Epicycles; which holds the record for longest running scientific goof!
17th Century doctors thought rubbing chicken dung into your scalp would cure baldness! They also thought leeches sucked disease out of patients. 18th Century Geologists thinking the Earth was 6000 years old, because, well, that's what the church wanted!
Prior to the 1950s, scientists thought proteins carried our heredity. Until the 19th Century, doctors thought infection was caused by bad air, hence "malaria.". Scientists claimed cigarettes were good for you up until the 1950s. Until 2005, doctors thought ulcers were caused by stress. National Geographic should not be questioning why people do not trust science after its own 1999 "Piltdown Chicken" scandal!
The beauty of science is supposed to be that they admit it, not use the label of "science" like a modern religious icon to push agendas onto people! Anyone who says the "Science is settled" is not being scientific, they are being propagandistic!
Vitamin D Treatment for C-19 Completely Vindicated
UK - As a safe, widely available, and affordable treatment, Vitamin D may help to reduce the severity of the COVID-19 pandemic. Vitamin D insufficiency affects almost 50% of the population worldwide. Vitamin D supplements may have been helpful not only for treatment and prevention of Covid-19 treatment, but a host of other chronic illnesses. It was a win/win for the patients to get more sunshine and Vitamin D supplements, but arguably, a loss for public health professionals and the pharmaceutical industry that had gone into overdrive pushing a ‘vaccines or nothing’ Covid response.
“Experts have for months been calling for officials to look into the immune system-boosting nutrient’s effect on Covid-19 patients after a mountain of research showed a link to vitamin D deficiency,” the report added. “Mr Hancock told the House of Commons last week he had green-lit a Government-funded ‘trial’ investigating vitamin D and that it did not ‘appear to have any impact’.”
In 2020, however, there were data that showed strong correlations between Vitamin D and Covid outcomes. A University of East Anglia study showed that case rates tended to decrease with higher Vitamin D levels among the population.
Ivermectin, Hydroxychloroquine and Vitamin D have one thing in common: They were all low-cost alternatives to Covid vaccination and expensive treatments that Big Pharma dismissed out-of-hand during the pandemic. Was their rush to dismiss these treatments based on the Science or based on their profits? Further research is leading many to believe that it was much less of the former than the latter.
Sacred Jerusalem Site Becomes a Flashpoint
ISRAEL - A small group of Jewish men clad in black and white stood in a quiet nook of Judaism’s holiest site one recent morning, gently rocking and murmuring prayers before Israeli police motioned for them to move on. Such a scene would have resulted in arrests just a few years ago for violating a long-standing unofficial agreement between Israel and Islamic religious authorities, which forbids non-Muslims from praying on the site known to Jews as the Temple Mount and to Muslims as the Noble Sanctuary. But after a decades long campaign to change the unwritten rules, called the “status quo,” Jewish prayer has become more common — and under a new Israeli government could soon become routine.
Palestinians see greater Israeli control at the Noble Sanctuary as yet another loss in their struggle for a state with East Jerusalem, which they see as occupied territory, as their capital. Samer Sinijlawi, an East Jerusalem activist for the Palestinian Fatah political party, said he is concerned that Mr Ben-Gvir could allow Jews to sacrifice animals on the site. As a lawyer, Mr Ben-Gvir defended Jewish activists arrested for trying to slaughter a goat there as part of an ancient Passover ritual once performed in the temples on the site. “This is going to be huge if it happens,” he said.
Iran To Station Warships in Panama Canal
IRAN - Iran's navy is set to station warships for the first time in the Panama Canal, a critical trade route in America's backyard that has never before seen an Iranian military presence. This is what Iran has been building in Latin America for the past 30 or 40 years by establishing embassies and bilateral agreements with a host of nations.
US Congress Growing More Racially, Ethnically Diverse
USA - Overall, 133 senators and representatives today identify as Black, Hispanic, Asian American, American Indian, or Alaska Native. The number has nearly doubled in the two decades since the 108th Congress of 2003-05. A quarter of voting members of the US Congress identify their race or ethnicity as something other than non-Hispanic White, making the 118th Congress the most racially and ethnically diverse to date. This continues a long-running trend toward more racial and ethnic diversity on Capitol Hill: This is the seventh Congress to break the record set by the one before it.
One in four British troops ‘dangerously’ overweight
UK - A quarter of all British soldiers are ‘dangerously’ overweight or obese, according to statistics seen by the Mail on Sunday, fueling a growing health crisis in the ranks. Nearly 40,000 of the 145,000 members of the UK military have been classified as overweight in the last five years. The alarming statistic “represents a failure of leadership among those responsible for ensuring troops under their command remain fit and healthy and ready to fight,” former British commander Colonel Richard Kemp told the Mail.
“Every overweight serviceman or -woman became overweight while serving,” the veteran, who led British troops in Afghanistan, continued. “Allowing soldiers’ health to decline in this way is the same as neglecting a weapon system or combat vehicle to the extent it cannot function when needed.”
US Army to expand weight rule
USA - The US Army will reportedly cancel weight limits for its troops, allowing obese soldiers stay in the service and continue to be eligible for promotions if they score well enough on their physical fitness tests. The rule change was revealed on Wednesday by the Army’s highest-ranking enlisted leader, Sergeant Major Michael Grinston, according to Military.com. Speaking to soldiers at an Army conference in Washington, Grinston said, “If you score high on the ACFT (Army Combat Fitness Test), you should be good.”
Other changes to policies relating to weight are being considered and will be finalized by June, Grinston said. It hasn’t been decided when the rule changes will go into effect. The Army has historically required weigh-ins at least every six months and has barred troops who are considered too fat from reenlistment, promotion, transfers or eligibility to attend professional schools.
'Transgenderism is a Full-Blown Attack Against Motherhood'
VATICAN - In his January 8 sermon on the family, Father Chad Ripperger, a Catholic priest and exorcist, explained that "transgenderism" is a direct attack "on "motherhood," and added that "the entire feminist movement is an assault on motherhood." While discussing marriage and how it is under constant attack by our culture, Father Ripperger said, “Things like transgenderism is a full-blown attack against motherhood. People usually don’t put it together. Why is it an attack on motherhood?"
"It is the family that is the building block of society." “If you can destroy the family life, you will de facto destroy the culture," said Father Ripperger.… "They’ve [feminists] torn down the magnificence of motherhood and the magnificence of what it truly means to be a woman." "And now we also see," he added, "now masculinity is under full-blown attack because of the absolute hatred the demons have for God the Father, and the fact that men are in the image of God the Father.”
California experiencing both drought and flood emergencies
USA - Storms have not let up in California over the past few weeks, causing widespread flooding and leading many to believe that the state’s ongoing drought may be coming to an end soon. However, officials announced Tuesday that it may take much more rain and snow for that to happen. “California is experiencing coincidentally both a drought emergency and a flood emergency,” said Karla Nemeth, director of the California Department of Water Resources.
According to the US Drought Monitor, 71 percent of California is still experiencing what the monitor terms as severe, extreme or exceptional drought — the three most severe tiers of drought status. The California Department of Water Resources states that most of the state’s largest reservoirs are still below average, including Lake Oroville, which has risen 77 feet since December 1, 2022, but is only at 44% capacity with plenty of room to store more water.
“Our larger reservoirs are really depleted from this extreme drought, to get them to the top of conservation would take more storms,” said state climatologist Dr Michael Anderson. At least three more storms are in line for California before the end of January, which will give officials more information on what is needed to end drought conditions. “As our traditionally wet season progresses … and we have a better understanding of what’s happening in different parts of the state, relative to water supply availability, that’s how we’ll start to emerge out of a drought emergency,” Nemeth said.
