Following its foundation in 1971 by German engineer and academic Klaus Schwab, the WEF has met annually to tackle what it sees as the issues of the day and deliver guidance to invited members and guests, and through them influence the world at large.

In 1973, the annual meeting endorsed the Davos Manifesto, a “code of ethics for business leaders” which was updated in 2020 to set out the purpose of business in the Fourth Industrial Revolution – itself a concept coined by Schwab in his 2016 book. This year’s meeting will be no different. It is headlined “Cooperation in a Fragmented World” and will follow on from the Great Reset as declared at the Davos summit of 2021.

In the run-up to the 2023 event, Schwab announced last November that Communist China will likely serve as a “role model” for many countries as the global community embarks upon a “systemic transformation of the world,” as Breitbart News reported. In an interview with the Chinese state-run television network CGTN, Schwab heaped praise on the Communist government in Beijing for being a leading figure in his vision of the aforementioned Great Reset of capitalism to usher in the “world of tomorrow.”

“Urgent global and national efforts” are needed to mitigate the risk of such a downturn as well as debt distress in emerging market and developing economies (EMDEs), where investment growth is expected to remain below the average of the past two decades, the Washington-based lender said.

International Monetary Fund Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva started 2023 with a warning that the world faces “a tough year, tougher than the year we leave behind.” One-third of the global economy will be in recession because the US, the EU and China are all slowing down simultaneously, she told CBS’s ‘Face the Nation’ in an interview aired January 1.

Now, in spite of tough international sanctions and extreme self-imposed isolation during the coronavirus pandemic, experts warn that North Korea has made such rapid progress with its military goals that existing arrangements for the defence of South Korea, Japan and the US could soon be rendered obsolete.

“North Korea is on its way to perfecting its nuclear programme,” says Sue Mi Terry, a former CIA analyst who heads the Asia programme at the Wilson Center think-tank in Washington. “I think there is a serious risk that a North Korean crisis could erupt while we are all focused on China potentially invading Taiwan.”

But the development that most worries policymakers in Seoul, Tokyo and Washington is North Korea’s new generation of lower yield tactical and battlefield nuclear weapons. On New Year’s Day, North Korea test-fired its “super-large multiple launch rocket system”, which Kim has claimed can strike anywhere in South Korea.

“North Korea fired more than twice as many missiles last year as were launched during the entirety of the reigns of former leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il put together,” says Jeongmin Kim, an analyst with Seoul-based information service NK Pro. “It is no longer strictly accurate to describe these launches simply as ‘tests’,” she adds. “Rather, North Korea is demonstrating to its adversaries that its nuclear forces are operational and ready to use.”

Life is pretty tough for the generation sinking into their middle years. It is a time when people are supposed to be kicking on with their careers, rearing children and, often, caring for ageing parents. But it is also a time when housing and child-care costs combine with uneven taxes and an unbalanced welfare state to create a miserable period. Call it the Dark Ages.

The claims came from a website called News Punch, which has published numerous stories based on conspiracy theories and has promoted fabricated information and quotes in the past. The article was published Tuesday with the headline: “World Economic Forum Declares Pedophiles ‘Will Save Humanity.’” One Twitter user who shared the story on Wednesday received more than 10,000 retweets and 15,000 likes on the post, which was also viewed more than 450,000 times.

The article claimed — without citing any evidence or sources — that WEF Chairman Klaus Schwab called pedophilia “nature’s gift” to humanity. It also falsely stated that a research paper presented at the forum in Davos, Switzerland, described pedophilia as “nature’s attempt to cleanse the earth and ‘save humanity’ from itself.”

“This is of course completely made up,” Zopf wrote in an email to The Associated Press on Friday. “I confirm that the World Economic Forum never made any statement of this kind and has never produced such a research paper.” Zopf added that the quote attributed to Schwab was also fabricated. No evidence for these claims, or any mention of such a research paper, can be found on the WEF’s website.

The NWS said the heavy precipitation hitting Northern California on Saturday morning will strengthen at night from a separate “energetic” system moving toward the coast. The storm will likely lead to a few additional inches of rain through the night in the area, and heavy snow is forecast to hit the high elevations of mountains in the interior part of the state, including the Sierra Nevada, by early Sunday. Residents are expected to have a respite from the heaviest precipitation on Sunday, but the NWS said another storm system will bring more gusty winds and an additional “onslaught” of rainfall and snowfall to Northern California early on Monday.

Early indications are that more died during the last year (Feb 2022 to Feb 2023). Those are staggering numbers. The US Government built a war memorial to the US military personnel slain in that conflict. When you learn that more than a million Americans have died from fentanyl overdoses in the last twenty years then you begin to understand the gravity of this threat. That is more than twice as many that the US lost in World War II. And what is the domestic reaction? A big yawn.

On the military front, all branches of the US military are having trouble filling recruitment quotas. Remember the furor when Donald Trump described some foreign countries as a “shit-hole?” Well, many of the largest American cities merit that title. There is San Francisco: Same thing in Philadelphia: Things are no better in Washington, DC: And what is the Government of the United States doing? Sending billions of dollars to Ukraine.

The sad truth is that America is turning into a freak show. The media pushes the LGBTQ and transgender agenda with tenacity and many Americans have been numbed into passive acceptance of this weirdness. Anyone who dares to ridicule or joke about this is attacked, both physically and verbally. So, if you have moved from the United States and are living in some place peaceful and beautiful, say your prayers of thanks. America is turning into a dystopian society.

Police confirmed a six-year-old student had been the one to fire the terrifying shot, but authorities are still looking into how the first-grader managed to get a gun. 'This was not an accidental shooting,' Newport News Chief Steve Drew said at a press conference on Friday. 'It was in a classroom, an altercation took place there. We did not have a situation where someone was going around the school shooting. We had a situation in one particular location where a gunshot was fired.'

The Uvalde Foundation For Kids also commented on the devastating incident, saying in a statement: 'Today's incident highlights, yet again, the need to prioritize in this nation, the protection of our schools, our students and the communities who care for them. Yet again, in another school in this nation; students are facing fear - instead of joy; lessons in violence - instead of peace. UNTIL those lessons change, our work continues."

'And talk about putting staff at a disadvantage — sarcasm is one of the only fun and kind ways to deal with some difficult pupils.' Another parent claimed the policy was 'ridiculous' and that sarcasm can be used to bring 'unruly kids into line'. A spokesperson for the Academy said: 'The document referenced is not a policy but a guide to support staff with delivering on our ethos.'

“The implication is that the US Government authorized and funded the deployment of noncompliant biological materials on Americans without clarifying their 'prototype' legal status, making the materials not subject to normal regulatory oversight, all while maintaining a fraudulent pseudo- 'regulatory' presentation to the public,” said Latypova. “Most incredible is the fact that current Laws enacted by the United States Congress appear to make the coverup actions LEGAL!”

The American people were led to believe that the FDA, CDC, and figureheads like Anthony Fauci oversaw the COVID-19 vaccine program. Their involvement was an orchestrated information operation. All decisions concerning the COVID-19 vaccine research, materials acquisition, distribution, and information sharing were tightly controlled by the DoD.

For a vaccine to receive designation under the EUA, there can be no other known treatments or cures. Therefore, many proven treatments such as ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine were blacklisted in the media and dismissed as “horse dewormers” when these cheap, readily available drugs were in the past heralded for their effectiveness. Eminent COVID-treating doctors such as Peter M McCullough and Pierre Kory have faced unprecedented attacks on their medical credentials.

It’s a bloody and wasteful course of action, but there’s really no other option. Putin is not going to allow NATO to place its hostile army and missile sites on Russia’s border. He’s going to defend his country as best as he can by proactively eliminating emerging threats in Ukraine. This is why Putin has called up an additional 300,000 reservists to serve in Ukraine; because the Russians are committed to defeating the Ukrainian army and bringing the war to a swift end.

PM Merkel’s recent admission that she and her European colleagues sought to exploit the Minsk Accords to buy time for the military building in Ukraine confirms the tragic truth of this matter.”

This is an excellent summary of the events leading up to the present day although we should spend a bit more time on Angela Merkel’s comments. What Merkel actually said in her interview with Die Zeit was the following: “The 2014 Minsk Agreement was an attempt to buy time for Ukraine. Ukraine used this time to become stronger, as you can see today.” (Tass News Agency) Merkel has been sharply criticized for admitting that she and the other western leaders deliberately deceived Russia about their true intentions vis a vis Minsk.

The fact is, they had no intention of pressuring Ukraine to comply with the terms of the treaty and they knew it from the very beginning. What we know for a fact is that neither Merkel nor her allies were ever interested in peace. Second, we now know that they maintained the fraud for 7 years before she spilled the beans and admitted what they were really up to.

And finally, we now know from Merkel’s comments that Washington’s strategic objective was the opposite of the Minsk agreement. The real goal was to create a heavily-militarized Ukraine that would prosecute Washington’s proxy-war on Russia. That was the primary objective, war on Russia. So, why would Putin even consider negotiating with people like that; people who just lied-to-his-face for 7 years while they flooded the country with weapons that would be used to kill Russian servicemen?

Commenting on the US’ statement, Soylu said, as cited by the CNN Turk broadcaster, “We know where the attack was coordinated. We have received the message given to us and we know what that message is. We do not accept condolences from the US Embassy. We are not treacherous to anyone, but we no longer have any tolerance for these insidious acts. The Istiklal street is our child.

What comes next? Well, this is easy. Expect Western narratives to turn increasingly negative towards Turkey. This will begin and likely build. Within a few months’ time, maybe even sooner (the West is now playing whack-a-mole with recalcitrant satellite states getting uppity), we can expect to see calls for "regime change," while those same media whores who conveniently ignore the war in Yemen, the Uyghurs, and the neo nazis' perpetual killing of Russians in the Donbass, will conveniently begin pointing to human rights abuses in Turkey (not that there aren’t any taking place — remember, they’re all psychopaths) and so on and so on.

All this will culminate in Turkey leaving NATO — unless they can be brought to heel either by way of a "color revolution" or by economic and military… ahem, pressures being imposed. Watching the collapse of the empire really is quite something isn’t it.

The New York Times published a piece featuring several women who chose LAT to avoid the potential responsibility of becoming a caregiver to their partner as they progress in age. The article quoted Ingrid Arnet Connidis, an emerita sociology professor at Western University in London, Ontario, who said, “A big attraction of LAT is to avoid the potential responsibility of being a full-time caregiver. Women cared for their children, parents and spouse, and want to avoid getting into these traditional gender roles.”

Our self-driven culture is disastrously impacting our mental health, making us more disconnected and lonely than ever. Is it any surprise this same culture is wreaking havoc on our marriages as well? Marriage stands in stark contrast to our culture's platitudes of "prioritizing yourself" and not compromising on the things you want. Marriage requires the reciprocal self-sacrifice for the sake of a spouse's happiness and vice versa.

“An industry plagued by decades of fraud, corruption and criminality managed to quickly rebrand itself as the savior of humanity during the COVID-19 crisis. But nothing inherently changed. Big Pharma still values shareholders’ profits more than people’s lives,” Kanekoa the Great wrote.

In 1992, Pfizer paid an undisclosed sum of between $165 to $215 million after artificial heart valves that it developed kept fracturing, leading to nearly 300 deaths at the time. In 1994, Pfizer paid $20 million after it lied to the federal government to get approval for another mechanical heart valve that kept fracturing.

In 2002, Pfizer paid $49 million for defrauding the federal government and 40 states by charging too much for its cholesterol drug. In 2004, Pfizer pleaded guilty to two felonies and paid $430 million in penalties for fraudulently promoting the drug Neurontin for unapproved uses. In 2009, Pfizer was fined $2.3 billion, then the largest pharmaceutical fraud settlement, for misbranding the painkiller Bextra “with the intent to defraud or mislead.” In the same year, Pfizer paid another $750 million to settle a class action suit accusing its drug Rezulin of killing 63 people and causing dozens more to experience liver failure.

From 2010 to 2014 alone, Pfizer paid out another $1.72 billion to settle lawsuits related to its illicit activities and its ineffective drugs. As Kanekoa the Great noted, the above-mentioned list of incidents are just a handful of the scandals involving Pfizer. The result of these malpractices means it continues to conduct unethical human testing of its products in the world’s poorest nations.
