Trump Threatens Ayatollah, Calls for ‘Unconditional Surrender’

USA - President Donald Trump weighed in on the Israel–Iran War Tuesday with language suggesting that the US may be contemplating involvement in the conflict. In a series of posts on his Truth Social account, the president stated, “We now have complete and total control of the skies over Iran… Nobody does it better than the good ol’ USA.” He also made threatening remarks concerning Ayatollah Ali Khomeini, Iran’s supreme leader: We know exactly where the so-called “Supreme Leader” is hiding. He is an easy target, but is safe there - We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now. But we don’t want missiles shot at civilians, or American soldiers. Our patience is wearing thin." Just one minute later, Trump made a post that read only “UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER!” The president raised alarms last night by rushing back to the US from the G-7 Summit and requesting that the National Security Council be prepared to meet in the Situation Room immediately upon his arrival.

Trump Publicly Rebukes His Own Intelligence Chief Tulsi Gabbard

USA - President Donald Trump publicly dismissed his own Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, on Iran’s nuclear capabilities. The bold rebuke came during an early morning Air Force One gaggle on Tuesday, as Trump headed back to Washington. When pressed by CNN’s Kaitlan Collins about Iran’s nuclear progress, Trump dropped the hammer: “Very close,” Trump responded confidently. CNN: You’ve always said you don’t believe Iran should have a nuke. Tulsi Gabbard testified in March that Iran wasn’t building a nuclear weapon.

US embassy in Israel will be closed for rest of the week

USA - The State Department on Tuesday announced that the United States' embassy in Jerusalem will be closed from Wednesday through at least Friday, amid the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran. "Given the security situation and in compliance with Israel Home Front Command guidance, the US Embassy in Jerusalem will be closed tomorrow (Wednesday, June 18) through Friday (June 20)," the State Department said, per Reuters. "This includes the Consular Sections in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv." The warning comes after Israel attacked Iran's nuclear facilities last week, killing many of its military leaders and scientists in hopes of stopping the country from developing a nuclear weapon.

3 India-bound Boeing 787 Dreamliners hit with problems

INDIA - Three India-bound Boeing 787 Dreamliners have been forced to return back to base within a 36-hour period after being hit with problems. The Air India passenger jets - the same type as the aircraft involved in last week's tragedy in Ahmedabad - suffered a mix of issues from a bomb threat to a technical glitch. It comes just days after an Air India Dreamliner crashed shortly after take-off from Ahmedabad airport, killing 229 passengers and 12 crew, with one person surviving the crash.

Indonesia volcano: Huge eruption sends ash 32,000 ft

INDONESIA - A huge volcano has erupted on the Indonesian island of Flores. The volcano, named Lewotobi, spewed ash 16,000m (32,000ft) into the air and prompted the Australian Government to issue a red alert for aircraft in the vicinity. Images show thick ash billowing 6.8 miles into the sky, causing authorities to expand the danger zone around the volcano. Those within the danger zone have been evacuated, due to pyroclastic flow risks and are being advised to "remain calm".

Colonel MacGregor: Dear President Trump, Keep America First...

USA - "Not Israel first, Not Ukraine First" - In the last 72 hours, Israel launched a preemptive strike against Iran when negotiations between Washington and Tehran were still ongoing. Iran was caught off-guard. But Iran recovered more quickly from its Pearl Harbor moment than Israel expected. In less than 18 hours after Israel’s surprise attack, Iran responded by firing hundreds of ballistic missiles, including hypersonic missiles, into central Tel Aviv and across Israel. Meanwhile, Israel's Iron Dome failed. Israeli intelligence failed. Now Netanyahu is pleading with Washington to intervene with American Military Power to rescue Israel from certain defeat; a defeat Netanyahu crafted with encouragement from Washington.

Iran plots Israel retaliation that would hit the world

IRAN - This weekend saw Iran and Israel fire wave after wave of missiles and drones at each other, beginning on Friday when Benjamin Netanyahu ordered the IDF to target Iran's nuclear infrastructure, as well as densely populated parts of Iranian cities.

Trump Calls For Iranian Capital To Be Evacuated 'Immediately'

CANADA - President Trump on Monday evening warned Tehran to evacuate. The president posted on his social media site an ominous message calling for the immediate evacuation of the Iranian capital. He made the post while in Canada attending the G7 summit. Trump had said more than once during the day that Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. The message was delivered amid four days of air-strikes between Israel and Iran, amid effort by the US to get Iran to agree to stop trying to enrich uranium to create a nuclear weapon.

Trump Leaving G7 Early

CANADA - President Donald Trump is leaving the G7 Summit in Canada early in order to attend to "many important matters," according to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt. He has summoned his national security team to the White House Situation Room. The news comes shortly after Trump issued a series of statements on Truth Social about the situation in Iran. "America First means many great things, including the fact that Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. Make America Great Again!!!" Trump said. "Iran should have signed the 'deal' I told them to sign. What a shame, and waste of human life. Simply stated, Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. I said it over and over again! Everyone should immediately evacuate Tehran!"

Is Washington Preparing for War?

USA - Over the weekend, the US Air Force dropped not one but two enigmatic Emergency Action Messages (EAMs). On June 14, a 246-character encrypted code blasted across the High‑Frequency Global Communications System (HFGCS) — the same system used to transmit emergency alerts to our nuclear-capable bombers, missiles, and subs. The very next day, June 15, another code — this time clocking in at nearly 290 characters — was broadcast. EAMs usually top out at around 30 characters. These extended transmissions are, quite frankly, unprecedented, according to The Express. According to US military doctrine, EAMs can initiate Major Attack Options (MAOs) or Limited Attack Options (LAOs), and are cryptographically secured to prevent interception or tampering.

Growing US involvement in Israel-Iran war

USA - Dozens of powerful US Air Force tankers have been deployed across the Atlantic amid mounting fears the Israel-Iran conflict could spiral into all-out war. At least 28 tankers, including the KC-135R Stratotanker and KC-46 Pegasu, were sent from military bases across the US on Sunday evening. The tankers are used for aerial refueling of long-range bombers, tactical fighters, and other aircraft. The Pentagon did not immediately respond to a request for further information on the move, however military outlet TWZ reported that such a large migration of tankers at once was 'very peculiar.' Open-source aircraft tracker Flight24 showed at least 28 tankers all heading across the Atlantic on Sunday night, headed for air force bases including those in Europe. It came as President Trump also deployed the USS Nimitz to the Middle East, sparking concerns that the US could be dragged into an escalating conflict in the region.

What if we can’t trust the international media?

ISRAEL - Recently, international media outlets reported on a supposed massacre of Gazans by the IDF at the humanitarian aid distribution zone. The claims were based on a viral video and information from the Gaza Health Ministry, which is controlled by Hamas – the same terrorist organization that is still in control of Gaza and that still holds 53 hostages. Even if we overlook the years of international media reliance on Hamas-run sources, the pattern since October 7 has become impossible to ignore – and it’s never in Israel’s favor. We are not asking the international media to be blindly on our side, or on anyone’s side. We’re simply asking the international media to do what it is supposed to do: report the truth. Verify stories before publishing them to millions, especially when the information comes from a terror group that not only attacks Israel but brutalizes its own people. We’re only asking: Don’t publish a story just because it fits the narrative that Israel is always at fault. On a personal note: I ask the international media to return to what it once was – trustworthy.

Pakistan 'tells Iran they will NUKE Israel'

PAKISTAN - Pakistan has threatened to drop a nuclear warhead on Israel if Benjamin Netanyahu uses nuclear weapons against Iran, according to a top Iranian officer. General Mohsen Rezae, a senior officer in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and a member of Iran's National Security Council, said in an interview: 'Pakistan has assured us that if Israel uses a nuclear bomb on Iran, they will attack Israel with a nuclear bomb.' Pakistan and Israel are two of the nine countries that currently possess nuclear weapons, according to experts. Rezae claimed that Pakistan has vowed to 'stand behind Iran', and called on the Islamic world to unite against Israel. So far, Pakistan has not commented on Rezae's claims, though last night its defence minister Khwaja Asif noted that the world appears to be teetering on the edge of conflict as a result of the escalating attacks in the Middle East.

Trump Hints At 'Possible' US Entry Into War

USA - After Saturday reports widely said that Israel requested direct US military assistance in attacking Iranian nuclear sites, President Trump in fresh comments to ABC News has begun to change the White House tune a little, as he now says it's 'possible' the US 'could get involved' in the Israel-Iran conflict. He told ABC's Rachel Scott that "it's possible we could get involved" - however he emphasized that the US military is "not at this moment involved" in the conflict. He pivoted to calling for peaceful resolution, saying the US would be "open" to Russian President Vladimir Putin being a mediator. "He is ready. He called me about it. We had a long talk about it," Trump said. Of course, he campaigned against new wars starting and said these major conflicts would not have happened if he was president.

How Britain could be dragged into the Israel-Iran conflict

UK - It was the moment that Benjamin Netanyahu had awaited for decades: at 3am on Friday, the Israeli prime minister’s forces launched a massive attack on Iran, aiming to wipe out swathes of its nuclear weapons programme. Israel said its goal was to “roll back” Tehran’s programme, which it considers an existential threat, and has signalled that more strikes will follow, which could destroy the nuclear project altogether. But as the dust settles following Israel’s initial salvo of air strikes, the risk of this operation unleashing an all-out regional war – and one that could even drag in Britain – looks higher than ever. The Iranian statement also claimed that “grave and far-reaching consequences” will be inflicted on Mr Netanyahu’s “supporters” – raising the possibility that key allies Britain and France might be dragged into regional conflict as well.
