Farage says no Brexit Party will stand against Tories

UK - Nigel Farage announced his Brexit Party will not field candidates against the Conservative Party in the event of a general election to "put country before party" if no deal Brexit is delivered. "If Boris Johnson says, ‘look, we are leaving, we’re going to have a clean break, we will after that negotiate a free trade agreement and no more,’ and deliver a genuine Brexit then we would - the Brexit Party – put country before party. We’d tell Mr Johnson, ‘right, we want to help you in any way we can'."

EU panic: Italy and Spain on brink of snap elections

EUROPE - Italy and Spain are both on the brink of political turmoil this week, with Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte trying to stitch together a coalition to block out right-winger Matteo Salvini, and Spain’s leader Pedro Sanchez races against time to strike a deal to prevent yet another general election. Meanwhile, in Spain, acting prime minister Pedro Sanchez will today set out plans he hopes will convince left-wingers Unidas Podemos to support his last-ditch attempt to form a government and avoid a repeat election - which would be the fourth since 2015.

Fighting for Germany

GERMANY - Recently a party represented in the German parliament (Bundestag) published its program for the military. The program is not secret. The voters going to the polls in 2 German states on September 1 could know this program. Up to 28 percent of the voters have chosen the party with this program. It wants to further militarize Germany. The 28 percent party is calling for a radical "restoration of the German Bundeswehr."

UK prime minister tells lawmakers to back his Brexit plan

UK - British Prime Minister Boris Johnson shot down the notion that he wanted an early election to secure Brexit, insisting Monday that it wasn’t the way to get a deal done. Johnson decried parliamentary action set for Tuesday that is meant to delay Britain’s departure from the European Union, arguing that it would “chop the legs” out of the UK position. He spoke moments after lawmakers posted a copy of the proposed bill on Twitter, making clear that they would press the government to seek a delay if there’s no deal.

CHINA: End Is Coming

CHINA - Following what many have described as the most violent weekend yet after 86 days, or 13 weeks of pro-Democracy protests in Hong Kong, which have led to the arrest of at least 1,117 residents, where the local police is now deploying water cannon in response to "rioters" using petrol bombs, China appears to have finally had enough and on Sunday, Beijing issued a stern ultimatum to not only Hong Kong protesters, but also the West, reiterating that it will not tolerate any attempt to undermine Chinese sovereignty over the city.

Liberal FEC chairwoman targets online news she considers ‘fraudulent’

USA - New concerns are being raised that online conservative media outlets could face federally imposed censorship going into the 2020 elections. Years after Republicans on the Federal Election Commission claimed Democrats were targeting conservative speech on outlets like the Drudge Report, the liberal head of the FEC is teaming with an anti-Trump free speech advocacy group to host a symposium targeting online “disinformation.”

Argentina imposes currency controls

ARGENTINA - Argentine bonds collapsed to new record lows on Monday after the government brought back currency controls in a desperate bid to stem the plunge in the peso. Mauricio Macri’s government will restrict buying of foreign currencies as it attempts to counter a huge depreciation in the peso that threatens to deepen the country’s recession and trigger its ninth debt default. Investors wanting to exchange the peso for a foreign currency will need permission from the central bank, reintroducing controls last seen under his fiercely anti-investor predecessor, Cristina Fernández de Kirchner.

Nations Invited for Animal Sacrifice on Mount of Olives

ISRAEL - On September 25, the 5,780th anniversary of the day on which Jewish tradition holds the world was created, the Sanhedrin is holding a conference for the emerging Organization of 70 Nations. The conference will culminate in an animal sacrifice made by representatives of the nations on the Mount of Olives in which they will renew the covenant made by Noah upon leaving the Ark.

Something's Fishy About America's Official Inflation Data

USA - When confronted with the Fed's claims that there's no inflation in the economy, most Americans who don't have a PhD in economics would probably react with a mixture of confusion, frustration and disbelief. The Fed likes to treat inflation like a giant mystery that can't be cracked. But anybody who has been to a restaurant, supermarket or paid a rent check over the past decade can tell you: Prices are rising much faster than the CPI would have you believe.

Doctor forbidden to practice after telling patient ‘a fetus is a human’

SOUTH AFRICA - A South African doctor is facing charges of unprofessional conduct after telling a woman scientific facts about unborn children. According to Sowetan Live, Jacques de Vos allegedly told a patient that "a foetus is a human" and claimed that abortion kills a human. After de Vos stated these scientific facts, his employment was terminated and he was prohibited from practising medicine.

Britain IS in the grip of a coup

UK - It took two phone calls to convince Boris Johnson he would have to press the nuclear button and prorogue Parliament. ‘It was after he got off his second call with two of the European leaders,’ a Johnson ally reveals. ‘He just turned and said, “They don’t think we’re serious about No Deal. They think Parliament will block it. They don’t think they need to move.” ’

Jacob Rees-Mogg accuses Remainers of being 'scared' of an election

UK - The Minister at the centre of Boris Johnson's shock move to suspend Parliament today dares his opponents to bring down the Government – then watch the Prime Minister sweep to a thumping Election victory. Jacob Rees-Mogg accuses 'deceitful' and 'underhand' MPs planning a last-ditch Commons move to block No Deal Brexit of being too frightened to call a vote of no confidence in Mr Johnson because it would lead to a crushing defeat of Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn in a snap poll.

Boris Johnson issues the ultimate threat to rebel Tory MP's

UK - Boris Johnson tonight vowed to boot out any Conservative MPs who try to block a No Deal Brexit. Likely rebels are being warned they will have the whip withdrawn if they join up with the Opposition this week. This would stop them standing as Tory party candidates at a general election that could be called within days. Mr Johnson and party whips agreed the tough tactics over a lamb curry lunch at Chequers yesterday. Also present was the PM's chief aide, Dominic Cummings, who has vowed to use 'any means necessary' to leave the EU by October 31.

Germany’s military has become a complete joke

GERMANY - The most recent embarrassment for the Bundeswehr — the grounding of all 53 of its Tiger helicopters this month due to technical faults — is just the latest in a long series of humiliations to have sprung from Ursula von der Leyen’s spell as defence minister. A country once feared for its ruthless military efficiency has become a joke among European powers. To quote fellow Christian Democrat Rupert Scholz, who served as Helmut Kohl’s defence minister: ‘The Bundeswehr’s condition is catastrophic. The entire defence capability of the federal republic is suffering.’

German far-right party posts best-ever results in key state elections

GERMANY - The far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) came up short of victory in eastern state elections in Saxony and Brandenburg on Sunday, but still finished with its highest vote share ever, Politico reports. Why it matters: The anti-immigrant, nationalist AfD is one of several far-right parties across Europe that have made significant gains at the expense of the political establishment, including in May's European Parliament elections. Angela Merkel's center-right Christian Democratic Union (CDU) remained the strongest party in Saxony with about 32%, while the center-left Social Democrats (SPD) held onto first place in Brandenburg with 27.2%, according to initial results. Worth noting: The results are being viewed as a victory for AfD, but all parties have sworn not to work with the far right in a coalition government. That could be a difficult promise to keep, however, with vote share dispersed across a number of smaller parties.

The confusion is not merely around the Church – within the religions of the world outside – but WITHIN the very heart of The True Church itself!
