As the population dwindles, all the social programs are collapsing for they were NEVER designed properly from the outset. They are based on a Ponzi scheme where they rely on taxing a growing younger population to service the benefits of the older generation.

This was the entire scheme behind Obamacare. Force the youth to buy insurance they do not need to reduce the cost for the elderly. These findings were a huge surprise to those in government. They did not think it was even possible. The joke is that we will have more grandparents than grandchildren.

In Britain, the fertility rate has dropped to 1.7, which is similar to most Western European countries. Anything below 2 children per couple means a net population decline. This data clearly warns that the Ponzi scheme set up first in the New Deal of the Great Depression is no longer sustainable. The cost of childcare has skyrocketed and the rise in taxation has forced women to work, making childcare mandatory, but not affordable for 2 or more children. This creates an unsustainable future for taxation.

The Conference is being jointly organized by the Vatican Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development and the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue and runs until March 9th.

Instead of a legacy of civil war and crushing poverty, Assad’s legacy would be one of wartime leader that brought total victory over Syria’s most hated enemy. Of course Israel is never going to leave the Golan Heights. We all know how Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu feels, and on Monday his main opposition in the upcoming election expressed similar sentiments… Blue and White party politicians Gabi Ashkenazi, Yair Lapid, Benny Gantz and Moshe Ya’alon visited the Golan Heights on Monday and vowed never to give it up. “We will increase the numbers of residents in the Golan, sending a resounding message to all – we will never relinquish the Golan Heights,” Gantz said.

Thus, it stands to reason that town hall meetings to discuss the significance and future of this critical transatlantic relationship have landed in Boise. If one looks around the world, the US has more common interests with Germany than perhaps any other country.

This is of course heresy of the highest order, for a belief in the supremacy of politics is the secular religion of our era. The orthodoxy is: there is no problem that can’t be solved with a political policy: a tax cut, a new tax, a new incentive, a broader definition of criminality, and so on. What if the status quo is failing for reasons that are beyond the reach of politics? Politics assumes that tweaking incentives and disincentives via rewards and punishments, centralizing control of assets and income streams and manipulating the issuance of currency and interest rates can fix any and every problem.

The limits of politics are the limits of government. In the present era, all government seeks to further centralize power and capital because the era’s quasi-religious belief is that centralization is the solution to everything. This is of course false. Centralization works until it becomes the problem, at which point further centralization of power and capital only speeds system-wide failure.

Government can’t rescue a status quo which is failing due to negative return on investment (ROI), gross inefficiencies, the loss of trust in corrupt institutions, and all the other ills that are intrinsic to centralization of power and capital. As a result, the greater the government’s power, the greater the polarization as the self-serving elites seek to protect their share of the pie as the pie shrinks. Each camp becomes increasingly extreme, and compromise is recognized as a process that erodes every camp’s power and income.

The political solution is take-no-prisoners domination and the eradication of rivals’ power to veto or contest the domination of the winner. This drive to polarization is the result of centralized elites attempting to distribute the system’s increasing failure to their competing elites. This is the politics of decline and collapse. This is the only possible output of centralized power grabs by self-serving elites, ie the status quo.

He continued along those lines, criticizing the anti-climate-change movement for “co-opting and corrupting” politicians and allowing the environment to be treated as a political football without understanding of the meaning behind the rhetoric.

But Moore reserved his harshest words for the Sunrise Movement he believes is backing Ocasio-Cortez. “They’re brainwashing these children into thinking the world is coming to an end in 10 years. There’s got to be billionaires behind this. I want to know who they are. I think we need to hunt them down.”
