I agree with Mr Fischer that Germany argued strongly for a Euro in Germany’s own image. He went on to explain how the economic policy put onto Greece will not work and how Germany now wants the Euro as a sphere of influence rather than as a European project. I do not agree with him that this means less Europe, as he puts it. It means more Europe of the kind Germany seeks. It will mean more budgetary controls over other member states, more common economic policies.

Germany’s main interest now seems to be to avoid making the transfers and payments that rich parts of a currency zone have to make to allow it to work. That is why Germany recommends more austerity for a country like Greece, in preference to sending Greece grants to assist her in a time of need.

States other than Greece will become, in Mr Fischer’s words, “European protectorates” following German led policy. Mr Fischer is right to tell us we now have a German-led Europe. In view of the stresses and strain, and the need for more discipline and centralised policy for the Euro area, the case for UK exit from the EU or that fundamental change of relationship becomes clearer by the day.

“The threat of the outbreak of the third world war by the terrorists is serious,” Rafsanjani was quoted as saying in a meeting with Italian Foreign Minister Paolo Gentiloni, who was in Tehran this week for a meeting with Iranian officials. Rafsanjani blamed the United States and NATO for fostering the conditions that will lead to World War III.

In the meantime also, the position of the Syrian Army is improving on the ground and there are no other parties left who are convinced that the Syrian “regime” should fall other than Saudi Arabia and Turkey. There is no option but to cooperate with him [Assad] in order to fight terrorism that is threatening everyone.

The Saudi Prince seemed convinced though very reluctantly that the essence of Putin’s harangue was that the Syrian “regime” is here to stay. This encouraged his host to go a step further and suggest a meeting between the Prince and a Syrian official without any preconditions. Both parties lashed at each other accusing each other of inflaming the situation. There is nothing to indicate that this was not done within the norms of diplomacy. The meeting concluded without reaching any results, but the ice has been broken.

The significance of this extremely historic meeting is enormous. It has the potential to be pivotal in whatever happens from this point on. It is not unrealistic to see this meeting as the beginning of the end. There will be many hurdles to overcome, but the road is getting clearer and smoother for a huge victory.

“The EDOs, in this case, would apply to a situation where a teacher was specifically teaching that gay marriage is wrong.” Deputy Director of the Christian Institute Simon Calvert, however, said Christian teachers would be “branded extremists for teaching that marriage is between a man and a woman.”

Abe had expressed deep concern about the documents WikiLeaks published last week, and vowed to bring up the issue with the US. Ianicelli is charged with tampering with a jury, a felony in Colorado that carries a minimum bond of $5,000. He was charged by the Denver District Attorney for seven counts of tampering, and has since bailed out of jail. Ianicelli was in the second day of a planned three-day outreach to educate jurors entering the courtroom about the power of jury nullification.

Though Kirsten Tynan (of the Fully Informed Jury Association) acknowledged that under some circumstances nullification activism is not legally permissible, it appears Ianicelli was within his rights. He is due back in court on August 11 to face his victimless felony charges.

It is more than alarming that a man attempting to facilitate and strengthen the judicial process is punished with the full force of the law — the very thing Ianicelli sought to educate jurors about. As Harlan F Stone, the 12th Chief Justice of the US Supreme Court said in 1941, “The law itself is on trial quite as much as the cause which is to be decided.” When the justice system refuses to allow jurors to be aware of their rights, let alone exercise them, the country’s entire system of “law and order” is called into question.

No matter which political party has been in power, the US government has been giving hundreds of millions of dollars to Planned Parenthood year in and year out. They just kept on doing this even though they knew that Planned Parenthood was harvesting body parts from aborted babies and selling them to medical researchers to be used in sick and twisted experiments. It was common knowledge that this was happening in the abortion industry, but nobody was really talking about it. Thankfully, a series of undercover videos has been released recently which has caused this horrific practice to make headlines all over the planet.

It is hard to even fathom that people could be so evil. We are talking about a level of depravity along the lines of a Josef Mengele. Now it is all out in the open, most Americans don’t seem too concerned about it. Barack Obama has already pledged to stop all attempts to defund Planned Parenthood, and he is very proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with them.

As I mentioned above, the United Nations is launching the 2030 Agenda For Sustainable Development in September. The Pope is actually traveling to New York to deliver the speech that will kick off the conference where this agenda will be publicly unveiled. But what most people don’t realize is that population control is at the very core of this new agenda.

The global elite want all of us to believe that climate change is the greatest threat that humanity is facing, and that one of the best things that we can do to fight climate change is to reduce population growth. Each one of us has a “carbon footprint”, and so in their view the less of us that are running around the better. Ultimately, they would like to stabilize the size of the human population of the planet at around 500 million people.

That would mean a reduction of more than 90 percent from the current level. This is something that the global elite talk about and write about all the time, and nobody should underestimate their sick obsession with “saving the planet”. So precisely how will they achieve their goal of getting rid of so many of us?

In a fourth video released from the Center for Medical Progress (CMP), Planned Parenthood personnel can be seen sifting through aborted baby parts allegedly to show what parts can be salvaged and sold. These mice or rats are created by removing a human organ such as a kidney from a dead human baby and implanting it into a mouse or rat for the purpose of medical research.

As reported in Live Science, Duke University medical student Eugene Gu co-authored a study released in January in which he said, “Our long-term goal is to grow human organs in animals, to end the human donor shortage.” According to the report, Gu is also founder and CEO of Redwood, California biotech company Ganogen, Inc.

On the one side are those liberal theologians who see the biblical texts as simply the words of men trying to interpret the mind of God. In their minds, the meaning of these words are highly fluid and subject to change as humanity evolves and “progresses.” But conservative scholars take a different approach. They look at the grand sweep of human history and see foreboding examples of whole societies wiped away mainly because of two things: their sacrificing of children to idols and their deviant sexual practices.

Carl Gallups, a Baptist minister, pastor, author and radio talk-show host, has also devoted much time to this issue in light of the Supreme Court’s June 26 ruling. He believes the fact that homosexuality was not only practiced widely in ancient Canaan but that authorities apparently gave it their stamp of approval may well have been why God ordered the Israelites to wipe out the Canaanite society.

“Isn’t it interesting that one of the oldest known references to homosexual contracts sanctioned by a government and society references a society for which God ordered its total destruction? Not only that, but God gave the reason for its destruction as being ‘defiled’ and worthy of ‘vomiting out its inhabitants,’” said Gallups.

Powers given to the police after the 9/11 attacks on America to stop and search people without reasonable suspicion had to be scaled back after widespread misuse. The Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act, while not confined to anti-terrorism, has been used by the police to investigate the sources for newspaper “whistle-blower” stories. Now the Government is planning a new legal crackdown on “extremist” ideology and there are calls for its remit to be extended far beyond what was thought to be its purpose. The measure will introduce Extremism Disruption Orders (EDOs) to bear down on preachers and teachers extolling the virtues of jihad and fomenting anti-Western attitudes among young Muslims.

But rather than focus on where the problem clearly lies, the Government has already blurred the edges by saying it will apply to “all extremist views”. But how are these to be defined? Mark Spencer, a Conservative MP, has proposed that a potential target for these orders could be teachers who tell children that gay marriage is “wrong”. In other words, what was until recently an orthodox, traditionalist view would be criminalised.

Mr Spencer made his remarks in a letter to a constituent in which he expressed his support for freedom of expression. In doing so, he flagged up a clear risk that this legislation could be used to shut it down. This Bill is due to come before Parliament in the autumn. Ministers have plenty of time, therefore, to ensure it is framed in such a way that such a pernicious outcome is avoided.

The latest interview was with Melissa Farrell, of Planned Parenthood of the Gulf Coast, one of the biggest Planned Parenthood affiliates in the country. When asked by the investigators about purchasing parts, and whether they could be obtained intact, she explains, “If we alter our process, and we are able to obtain intact fetal cadavers, we can make it part of the budget that any dissections are this, and splitting the specimens into different shipments is this. It’s all just a matter of line items.”

Troy Newman, of the abortion-fighting Operation Rescue and who is on the board for CMP, said, “The admission that Planned Parenthood abortionists manipulate procedures in order to better harvest organs or even intact late-term fetal cadavers for human experimentation purposes conjures images of HG Wells’ Dr Moreau. It is all clearly illegal.”

CMP spokesman David Daleiden said, "This is now the fifth member of Planned Parenthood leadership discussing payments for aborted baby parts without any connection to actual costs of so-called tissue 'donation.' Planned Parenthood's system-wide conspiracy to evade the law and make money off of aborted fetal tissue is now undeniable."

He continued, "Anyone who watches these videos knows that Planned Parenthood is engaged in barbaric practices and human rights abuses that must end. There is no reason for an organization that uses illegal abortion methods to sell baby parts and commit such atrocities against humanity to still receive over $500 million each year from taxpayers."

The teachers are starring in BBC Two's “Are Our Kids Tough Enough Chinese School” as part of a three-part documentary that begins Tuesday. Wei Zhao, who teaches Mandarin and spent 14 years working in communist Chinese, said cuts in the welfare system will mean students will be more motivated to learn. She said: “Even if they don’t work, they can get money, they don’t worry about it. But in China they can’t get these things so they know, 'I need to study hard, I need to work hard to get money to support my family'”.

"If the British Government really cut benefits down to force people to go to work they might see things in a different way." Yang Jun, a science teacher who taught in schools in Xian before moving to the UK, said: “In China we don't need classroom management skills because everyone is disciplined by nature, by families, by society. Whereas here that is the most challenging part of teaching.” She was also confused by a teenage girl who left the classroom in tears after reading reports that singer Zayn Malik had quit the boy band One Direction.

She said: “I found it difficult to understand such emotional behaviour over a pop band.” She also challenged an individualised approach to pupil learning. She said: “You have different syllabuses to suit different students' ability. We don't. We have one syllabus, one standard; you survive or you die. It's up to you.”
